[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this serum many different ways over the past few weeks and I honestly couldn't be happier! I have thin, wavy/curly hair (2A/B) that reaches the bottom of my neck. I generally shower at night, dry my hair with a microfiber towel, and apply the serum. Its definitely got an oily consistency but its thick enough to stay in place and doesn't run everywhere. Smelling it right out of the bottle is very strong, and reminds me of candy, but actually in my hair I don't really notice it at all. Its faintly, pleasant, and doesn't overpower or interfere with things like my perfume. On me the frizz controlling has lasted through 20mph wind and even a bit of rain! It never left my hair feeling weighed down or dirty. Used on damp hair and air dried: On damp hair this serum is a dream! It really brings out and amplifies my natural curls while doing an excellent job controlling the frizzy mop it normally is. When I wake up in the morning I have loose waves and still no sign of frizz! Its a miracle! Used on damp hair and partially blow dried: Since I live in an extremely cold climate I can't avoid the blow dryer in winter. Unfortunately for me this serum just doesn't play well with it. With my blow dryer on the lowest setting (low, warm) my hair was left crunchy, flat, and overall weird. Definitely not good for cold nights. Used on dry hair in the morning: For me personally, this was definitely the worst. It controlled my frizz, which of course was great, but it made my hair straight, limp, and lifeless. This is probably due to my hair type because my curls need to be treated right out of the shower or they'll turn into a frizzy mess. For very busy days this would work in a pinch, but its not my favorite method.

Gross cucumber smell. It does take away the frizz and fly away hair and that is a plus. It is messy being a serum also so you definitely have to wash your hands after , unlike a spray that you could spray as you go out the door or even in your car. Will review the 10 in one spray next to compare

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is course and unmanageable on the best of days, but this product worked and it did better than I have ever seen any product do on my hair. I would recommend this to everyone I come in contact with because this product was a lifesaver.

I use to love this product!! But now, since the formula changed, i don't love it no more! It smells bad like gel. I used to love the fruity smell but now it makes my hair smell like gel that smells like it's been on my hair for days. I just don't love it no more. The product itself is good makes hair soft but the smell is just the big turn off.

I have loved this product from day one it hit the shelves. I used it religiously after each hair washing as I have extremely long, baby fine hair that is extremely prone to tangles and mats. I have always been completely in love with this product until my most recent purchase. I buy a new bottle about six times a year. I got the most horrible shock when I opened and used the latest bottle for the first time. The smell had completely changed (for the worse). It has only what I can describe as a melon based smell now. I have a complete aversion to any smell in the melon family as is makes me uncontrollably nauseous. I have to officially say I can no longer use the product I have swore by for so many years that I can't remember the last time I had less than two bottles in my cabinet at the same time. I have now began a search for a new serum from a different company because of this. I love all of the Fructis lines of products and never had an issue until now (well besides they stopped carrying the shampoo and conditioner line I used about 8 months ago in the stores in my area but I found a suitable replacement within the Fructis lines which also works perfect for my hair). I have always recommended Fructis anti-frizz serum to my friends. It is unfortunate that I can no longer use my most trusted and loved hair product of all time. It took me years to find it and now I have to move on. If you can not handle the pungent aroma of melons, I suggest you look elsewhere for a serum like now I am in the process of with a sadden and heavy heart. I must now move away from the Fructis line for my hair serum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this product. I have chin length bleach blonde hair which tends to be overly dry and frizzy in the summer humidity. I found that using this product right after a shower and before blow drying helped to keep my hair from getting frizzy the moment I walked out the door. I did notice an increased softness / slickness in my hair, with added shine. What I disliked about this product was that it seemed to affect the strength of my hairspray. I use a pretty strong spray to give my hair lift at the roots, and this product seemed to make my hair overly silky and a bit greasy which meant my hairspray didn't work as effectively throughout the day. As the day progressed, I did notice a more oily buildup at the roots of my hair and on my scalp, after utilizing this product, however, my hair is very fine and normally straight, to begin with, so I expected this result. Overall I think this product would be great for occasional use by someone with straight, average to dry hair that tends to frizz. I think this product would really stand out and be beneficial to someone who has thick hair that gets wavy or unmanageable in the summer, and I will be recommending it to my friends who fit this description. The product smells great and does what it is advertised to do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This frizz serum made my hair feel amazingly soft and smooth.I love that it contains real argan oil so it really repairs my damaged hair. It created a ton of shine without feeling too heavy or greasy. The reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the scent while not unpleasant it smells very strongly like fruit candy and clashes with my perfume

This product makes my hair feel soft, hydrated, and it does seem to make it less frizzy and dry. I feel like my hair healthier feeling and looking when I use this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying the Sleek and Shine Serum for a week, I can officially say it has made my hair more manageable. It does keep my frizzy hair down for a while, but I found after 5 hours my hair will frizz up again. But personally, I think that is amazing. 5 hours of no frizz. The smell of the product will last all day. The product smells like fruit and a mix of flowers. I love that my hair smells good all day, even after being outside for hours. This product also made my hair very shiny. It kept my curls looking nice all day. During the week of trying this product, people complementing me on how shiny my hair was. Another thing I was happy about, was how big the bottle was. After a week of using this product, I still have a lot left. I think this product would last me for about 1 1/2 or 2 months. Overall, this product was amazing and I would totally get it again in the future.

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum did its best to make the problems go away. The liquid leaves your hair smooth and smelling good without being too oily. A little did not go a long way with my hair. I needed to dump the liquid onto my palm before adding it to my hair. The pump did not work, which helped with my decision. Once applied, it left my hair more manageable and much easier to style. Overall, a pretty good product.
