I am a mom to a beautiful little girl who lost her hair during medical treatment - when it regrew, it was very fine, but she has a lot, and it is quite wavy. You can imagine what brushing it was like. Sheer torture. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try a bit of my Sleek & Shine in her hair, and I can NOT get over the difference! We used to have to braid her hair before bed to have any chance of getting a brush through it in the morning, now she goes to bed with her hair down, and I can finger comb it in the morning - no snags, no frizz and a BEAUTIFUL shine. I've been using this line of products by Garnier for about twenty years. I occasionally try a new brand, but I always come back to sleek and shine. Their anti frizz serum is the only product that manages my hair even if I let it air dry. I have super thick, frizzy hair that becomes knotted and out of control within five minutes of brushing. I used to have to wash it every day just to have the opportunity to add conditioner to keep it somewhat manageable. This serum keeps my hair flat and manageable for up to three days between washes! Being able to skip a day or two between washes has done wonders for my day scalp! My daughter inherited my hair. She's autistic and has a very hard time with the sensation of brushing her hair. (When she was little we literally had to have one parent hold her arms down while the other brushed her hair as quickly as possible.) This serum allows me to brush and style her hair once in the morning and it stays nice and neat for the whole day. Before using this on her hair we had to brush her hair every three or four hours to keep the birds from building nests in her hair!!! I reccomend applying to damp hair straight out of the shower for best results. I start with a quarter sized amount spread through the lower half of the hair first. Then brush it through and add a TEENY TINY amount spread over the roots and top of the hair. Dry and style using your preferred method. The only thing stopping me from rating this a full five stars is how greasy it can get if you're not careful. A little bit of this stuff goes a long way. If you overdo it, your hair and scalp will look like you used Crisco as a conditioner. I highly recommend applying half a pump or less at a time until you reach your desired result. Sometimes, if you've only applied a little too much, you can spray some water on your hair and then blast it with a blow dryer on the hottest setting to remove the excess product. However, I've definitely found myself having to just wash my hair all over again to fix it or having to wear a hat all day if I don't have time to wash again. I do not reccomend this product for people with super fine hair or a naturally oily scalp.

The product definitely helped to minimize the frizz. I did note some frizz by the end of the day, however using the product definitely helped minimize it. The product also smells amazing! Easy to use and apply. I did apply too much at one time and noted my hair to look a bit greasy, however once I determined the right amount needed for my hair, it was perfect. A small amount goes a long way! Product doesn't feel heavy, nor does it make your hair appear flat. Overall I would definitely recommend this product to others!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that the sleek and shine serum is amazing! I have really thick hair, and one pump distributed throughout all of my hair. The smell is pleasant, it smells like argon oil, which could be too strong for some people, I love the smell though! The consistency is like thicker oil. I pumped one pump into my hands, ran it throughout my hair, and I noticed that it made my hands fell softer too. BONUS! I usually let my hair air dry because I don't like using that much heat on my hair, as it is damaged somewhat, but i don't like that my hair always gets frizzy and poofy when I let it air dry. I used this, let it air dry, and my hair was smooth, sleek, and shiny. Since my hair is so thick that sometimes, it doesn't even let me run my fingers through it, when I use this, I can, it's easy. I love the smell, the amount that you can use for your entire head, and the fact that it leaves it feeling luxurious.

I used about about a nickel size in my palm and rubbed together and ran it through my hair. Was a perfect amount. Didn't leave my hair greasy at all. It kept my hair sleek and shiny for days.

I have a conflicting problem of having GREASY hair after one day and having frizz issues in colder weather. Do I want to have frizz? No. Do I want to be a greaseball? Definitely not. Serves its purpose with the downside of making my hair greasy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I got this anti-frizz serum because my hair can get SO FRIZZY and nothing I do seems to calm those fly-aways! I tried applying it through my hair after my shower and brushing through it. Definitely made my hair feel silky and it smelled delicious! Only problem is, my hair is oily.. not dry.. so although it helped tame the frizz, my hair seemed to get oily pretty fast. Now maybe it was just the shine, and maybe I just used too much.. but be careful with how much you use and I would recommend applying only near the ends to avoid that! Other than that, I'm looking forward to see how my hair looks and feels after continuing to use it!

I was very sick for almost a year and lost half my hair density so now that it's growing back, I'm left with a ton of baby hairs that stick up and frizz out. This product is the only one that did the trick. It's composition makes your hair so soft as well as not greasy or stringy. I will totally be buying again.

Smells divine, the packaging was sleek, and it left my scalp feeling clean but not overly stripped. After applying this to my still-wet hair (this is important) my frizzy hair transforms into smooth and shiny, and I don't need any other product. It smells kinda light and citrusy, which is nice. It keeps the frizz away, which is needed in this humid climate.
