The former Fructis anti-frizz serum made from apricot oil and avocado oil was fabulous! Then all of a sudden it disappeared. Why? Why did Garnier discontinue such a great product? Smelled wonderful and did not make my fine hair oily. This replacement is not at all the same in any way. I found 4 bottles of the old one at a discontinued website, but I cannot recommend anyone use this new product, alas. Why do companies do this?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works like it says, you just have to brush it through your baby hairs after a couple of brushes it puts some of them down. Maybe I have many baby hairs that it takes more time. I'm unsure but it's not as effective as gel.

Frizz and dull hair feels like a constant battle for me, especially since I like to do minimal to no styling and bring out the natural waves I already have. This serum helps keep away that frizz and brings that enviable shine and dimension to my dark hair. Smoothing on this silky product is always a nice experience too since the scent is so pleasantly fruity!

I have a head full of kinky coils so frizz is something that I battle every time I let my fro loose. The product seems like it would be good for all hair types based off of the packaging but it's not.

After use my hair was completely soft and frizz free! I will be continuing my use of this product for many many more! I am going to tell people about this because I highly recommend this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum! For my Semi-damaged, color treated hair this is a miracle worker. It weighs down the fly aways enough not to, well, fly away.. But not enough that it weighs the rest of your hair down too. You can easily make your hair look greasy by using to much, so a little goes a long way. Which is also a great money saver, because the small size seems to last forever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair was so dry and frizzy all the time since I bleached my hair. I apply the serum after blow drying my hair and straighten. My hair looks shiny and healthy. I live in TX so my hair doesn't frizz up in the humidity.

My hair does get frizz too, so I was very pleased to be able to try this product. The first things I noticed is that it doesn't feel too oily in my hands, and that the scent is awesome. It did soak into my ends, and did give a nice shine. It was raining the day I first used it, so I got to test it's ability to keep frizz away. Worked well there, too. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my hair became less manageable. I curled the ends before using & they came out. My roots didn't feel clean, either (even though I tried to avoid putting the serum there.)

My hair also had no consistency in it type; sorta wavy, sorta straight, sorta curly. I tried the product both while damp and while dry. I was a little disappointed that we were only given the serum and not the shampoo and conditioner as well. It's hard to judge how well the product works without the whole set. This product sadly did nothing to tame my frizzy baby hairs. I was pretty disappointed that it didn't but I didn't fully expect them to get tamed. Even if it didn't tame my frizzy hair, it did make it nice and shiny. It also gave my hair a really nice wave, all over my head (this doesn't happen very ofter). It also smells very good, which makes it even better. I totally think this may have tamed my frizzy hair if I would have had the whole Sleek and Shine line, but it definitely did not disappoint in the shine department. Thanks Garnier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know if I just am not using it 100 percent correctly but it seems like no matter what I do it makes my hair super greasy. The smell is amazing I can see how it keeps the frizz down. I would have to wash my hair every single day if I used this frequently. If you needed a quick anti frizz yes I would say this would be amazing. But not for everyday use.
