I've been using this line of products by Garnier for about twenty years. I occasionally try a new brand, but I always come back to sleek and shine. Their anti frizz serum is the only product that manages my hair even if I let it air dry. I have super thick, frizzy hair that becomes knotted and out of control within five minutes of brushing. I used to have to wash it every day just to have the opportunity to add conditioner to keep it somewhat manageable. This serum keeps my hair flat and manageable for up to three days between washes! Being able to skip a day or two between washes has done wonders for my day scalp! My daughter inherited my hair. She's autistic and has a very hard time with the sensation of brushing her hair. (When she was little we literally had to have one parent hold her arms down while the other brushed her hair as quickly as possible.) This serum allows me to brush and style her hair once in the morning and it stays nice and neat for the whole day. Before using this on her hair we had to brush her hair every three or four hours to keep the birds from building nests in her hair!!! I reccomend applying to damp hair straight out of the shower for best results. I start with a quarter sized amount spread through the lower half of the hair first. Then brush it through and add a TEENY TINY amount spread over the roots and top of the hair. Dry and style using your preferred method. The only thing stopping me from rating this a full five stars is how greasy it can get if you're not careful. A little bit of this stuff goes a long way. If you overdo it, your hair and scalp will look like you used Crisco as a conditioner. I highly recommend applying half a pump or less at a time until you reach your desired result. Sometimes, if you've only applied a little too much, you can spray some water on your hair and then blast it with a blow dryer on the hottest setting to remove the excess product. However, I've definitely found myself having to just wash my hair all over again to fix it or having to wear a hat all day if I don't have time to wash again. I do not reccomend this product for people with super fine hair or a naturally oily scalp.

It helped get any remaining frizz out of my hair that the conditioner didn't. Don't get me wrong the conditioner got a lot of it but this was just the icing on the cake. I have curly/wavy hair and live in Florida. This seems to help manage the frizz!

It helps so much with frizz , when this product touched my hair it no longer got frizzy! I use it when my hair is both dry and wet ! I rather use it on wet hair just because of the fact if you use it on dry hair it’ll make it look oily. By far this is a really great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that the sleek and shine serum is amazing! I have really thick hair, and one pump distributed throughout all of my hair. The smell is pleasant, it smells like argon oil, which could be too strong for some people, I love the smell though! The consistency is like thicker oil. I pumped one pump into my hands, ran it throughout my hair, and I noticed that it made my hands fell softer too. BONUS! I usually let my hair air dry because I don't like using that much heat on my hair, as it is damaged somewhat, but i don't like that my hair always gets frizzy and poofy when I let it air dry. I used this, let it air dry, and my hair was smooth, sleek, and shiny. Since my hair is so thick that sometimes, it doesn't even let me run my fingers through it, when I use this, I can, it's easy. I love the smell, the amount that you can use for your entire head, and the fact that it leaves it feeling luxurious.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me the product is a little oily. Most of my frizz is close to my scalp, which made it difficult to use the product daily. Adding an oily product near my roots made my hair appear more greasy at the end of the day. If I was only using the product towards the end of my hair it would have been perfect. It lives up to it's name. It leaves your hair sleek and shiny after styling with heat. The smell was so clean and pleasant and lasted all day. Overall it was a good product but not for my type of frizz.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle is nice and the serum is really soft, however, it did not do anything for my hair. Also, I feel it is important to mention I did not use the suggested shampoo and conditioner to go along with this product. I did however try to use this serum multiple ways. I first put it on my hair damp and let it air dry, this probably worked best. Then I put it on my hair when it was close to dry, this made my hair oily. Then I put it on my very wet hair and blowed it dry this resulted in my normal frizzy hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used garnier sleek and shine I like how it leaves your hair shiny and soft it makes it easier to brush and manage the hair. I don't like to apply it when hair is dry because makes it look oily, I'd rather apply it when hair is wet because then you can distribute easier. What I didn't like is that it's to runny, I would rather prefer a more thick like consistency when it comes to hair polish. The other thing I didn't like is that the ingredients are very weird probably not even natural ones, but it does also help with frizzy hair , so overall I'm not to crazy about this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the light scent of this product and i tried it with wet and dry hair and it works both ways but i found it worked better with wet hair. I have fine curly hair and it helped smooth out my ends and added lots of shine to it but towards the end of the day my ends did start to frizz and my hair did look greasy. I would still recommend this product but definitely don't skip washing your hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off the smell is amazing. It's like citrus and sweetness in this little bottle. And when I say little bottle, don't take that too seriously. While it's 5.1 fl oz, it only takes one pump of the stuff to control frizz, and with winter coming, I'm really looking forward to having this stuff around. It doesn't take much at all, and it feels very light. Definitely recommend.

I feel like my hair looks very healthy compared to a few weeks ago. This product is a oily feel and takes very little to get the job done.However you should know if you use too much your hair will be greasy.
