[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical at first using an oil with such a large pump on my curly hair thinking it would weigh down my curls and make my hair look oily. Generally there's a fine line you have to walk between silky smooth and drippy oily looks with hair oil. This oil, thank goodness, is foolproof! I did a full pump and kept it to the bottom half of my damp hair. Once my hair had dried my hair - still looking clean- had a nice shine and felt very soft and weightless! Definitely love this stuff! I also appreciate the packaging, it's a decent sized bottle with a locking pump that I easy to use.

For 3 years I have been using this product I always pick it up when it's near empty, I love it so much smells so great and it's shiny yet not greasy I usually apply it to my hair when it is wet but even when it is dry the product sets in when I sleep the next day I wake up and it's shiny and perfect! I have straight thick hair and it works for me I also believe it has helped me In hair growth and making my black hair look AMAZINGLY shiny. I love it so much that I pick up the shampoo and conditioner of sleek and shine and that has also been 5 stars! I've tried a lot of high end brands and I will always stick with Garnier to keep me looking and smellin like a fresh apple! I'm going in tomorrow to pick up the deep conditioner and hairspray I have no doubt I'll love those just as much! Any one should try it. I used just a little to help control my frizz on dry hair. I have finally found a product that can control my frizz. I use a little more on wet hair which my hair seems to love as it soaks it in. Overall if you have oily hair be careful how much product you use (stay away from your scalp) and if you have frizzy hair this is a must have product.

The serum is a little stickier than I would like, which is the only reason I gave it a 4, but that may just be personal preference. I use for my flyaways caused by unruly grays. It is fruity kind of smell and stays in my hair for a couple of hours after application. The serum leaves my hair soft, smooth, shiny and smelling awesome. I only use one pump of the product in my thin, past shoulder length hair. The serum is transparent, doesn’t have any color and has a runny, oil-like consistency but it isn't oily or greasy at all. Makes my curls soft and shiny all day.
