I had the cream colored ones then bought the dark ones. I came back here to find out if they had any polyester in them and surprised to see pictures that look exactly like what happened to mine. They shredded in one area, parallel to the stripes. I figured they had gotten snagged on something in the dryer door. But odd that everyone else's look like mine started out. They got worse and worse torn after sleeping on them a while so that his feet go all the way through them. We went back to our old cream ones. I liked the look and feel, except that they did not reach far enough to tuck in on both sides of my king. Just barely make it in to one side with enough to hang off the other edge. We don't have an 8" mattress, but it's not super deep either. I will look harder next time to find something that actually fits 'deep' mattresses, which are pretty standard at this point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sheets arrived and were soft and comfortable to the touch - only after a few seconds did the smell hit me. I am not sure why this was the case, but the sheets came and smelled so rancid that the smell lingered in my living room for about an hour. Have since tried washing the sheets and the smell is mostly gone, but will not be using them since the smell is still slightly there and my face would be close to them at night. As far as the sheets themselves, they are light and would be breathable to make a good sleeping option if not for whatever made the smell stick to them.

I bought this item just 2 weeks ago. They clearly state 100% Egyptian Cotton Sheets but that is NOT the case!!!! When we opened them they smelt awful. It was so bad and so strong it made us gag. I washed them several times to get rid of the smell. Then when they were all dried and ready to put on my bed they felt like regular cheap cotton sheets. I looked at the inside tag and it says they are 100% Cotton NOT Egyptian Cotton. I have several set of Egyptian Cotton sheets from other retailers and all the tags say they are 100% Egyptian Cotton. This is false advertise at it's best. I did an online chat but they could not assist me; gave me a number to call. Called the number and the man told me there was no item that matched the item number on my receipt. He gave me a "new" item number (it pulls up a diamond ring online). He was ultimately no help so I asked for a supervisor to which I was told they were not available. He took my number and said they will call back in 1.5 hours. We shall see. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM!!!! ONE STAR IS ONE TOO MANY!!!!

I live in an area where it’s warm and hot one day and cold the next so it’s very unpredictable. I don’t have time to keep changing my sheets depending on the weather so I love how the fabric is good for hot summer nights and cool nights. It’s very easy to clean and the quality is great as you can tell by the stitching. I’ve washed it a couple times already and the color and fabric has held through. Overall a really great luxury feel set, highly recommend!

The packaging was really nice, the back of the bag Velcros which is cool. Upon putting them on the bed they fit our king nicely although I do wish it was a little deeper for our mattress but it still works. Slept good overall, didn’t notice being hot or anything differently. Quality is great and no snags at nighttime either. I would recommend these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually, sheets that are comfy and soft are also just too thick to avoid being heat ovens. These do a nice job of threading that needle. I found them to be soft and enjoyable not scratchy and friction, but also not too thin that they just bunch of up and don't hold their place. I also found them to not be a sweat factory, which is good since I am a sweaty sleeper.
