The fabric has a slight sheen that makes the bed look elegant and well-made. In terms of durability, the stitching feels solid, and after several washes the sheets have held up beautifully—no pilling or loose threads. They also fit my mattress securely; the deep pockets and elastic all the way around keep the fitted sheet in place even if you move around a lot at night. Temperature control has been good as well. Because they’re a heavier 700-thread-count cotton blend, they lean more toward a crisp and cool feel at first but soften with use and washing. They’re breathable enough for warm nights, yet cozy in cooler weather. They are well-made and should last for a long time, based on the substantial weight and how nicely they launder. The queen size fits my deep mattress perfectly, with the white making it look fresh and crisp. A nice surprise was the extra set of pillowcases (4 total), as I make my bed with four pillows. There’s likely some viscose or similar material blended in, because it’s soft and stretchy. Pure cotton tends to feel stiffer and tighter, but this one is smoother and more flexible, which suggests a mix. Of course, textile technologies are always evolving, so I could be wrong — but that’s my impression. The set fits a queen-size bed well. The graphite color is beautiful and works perfectly with my dark comforter. That said, I’m not sure how durable it will be in the long run. The pillowcase already showed signs of wear by the time the set arrived. So overall, I’d rate it 3 out of 5.
