The ponte is nice and thick, so no wrinkles, won't get hung up on your knee when you stand up, they fall nicely over your legs. The waistband is nice and snug, but not tight, with no muffin top issues. The length was almost floor-length on me (not ankle, like the model), so I had to wear a bit of a heel so they don't drag. So, why am I returning them? Well, at first, I was going to return them for a smaller size (yippee!), but after wearing them to work all day, I can't handle the 'slipperiness' of them. They aren't super-slippy, but they don't 'play well' with my office chair, and since that's when I'd need to wear these, it's not worth keeping pants that I'm not in love with. Until I pitched these from Sam's, not expecting much as many others that I have tried. I promise you, these pants exceed above and beyond what my good old 23 year old Ponte Knit pants have. I pulled these out of the package and felt the weight of the Ponte and knew I had found the “golden calf”!!! Please, take my word for these pants, run don't walk, to your nearest Sam's and get you some of these wonderful pants. They are slimming, holds you in in all the right places, and the boot cut is not over exaggerated...
