It came neatly packed in a box, and once I cut away the plastic, the mattress expanded quickly and came to life within minutes. The very first night exceeded my expectations, due to the fact that I have never purchased a mattress that was vacuumed sealed. I slept soundly, woke up feeling refreshed, and, best of all, I didn't have the usual body aches and stiffness I often experience in the morning. The mattress does an excellent job of conforming to your body, providing support exactly where you need it while still feeling comfortable and cushioned. I also love that the hybrid design offers the perfect balance of softness and support. Just pull it from the box, sit the mattress on the Box Spring / frame and cut it open and let it unfold. After that let it sit for a day or so to fully relax and stretch out. It does help to have two people as it can be pretty heavy though. The comfort of the bed IMHO on a 1-10 with 1 being soft and 10 being hard about a 6. It was firm, but not too firm. Made for some very good sleep. One of the nicest things is how if you run a warm body temp like I do, it can help to pull your body heat away from your body and keep you cooler. All around this is a nice buy for the price!

I am old school and in the past before one bought a mattress we would lay on it, stand on it and jump on the mattress before we purchased it. So when I opened the box and saw this vacuumed pack thin mattress the first thing thought that went through my head no way this mattress was going to be 13" mattress, After 24 hours the mattress was fully opened and ready to use. This mattress was very easy to move onto its new frame and easy to make. My first night on this mattress was heaven. It was very comfortable and contoured to my body so easily. I did not toss and turn to find a perfect spot for my body before I shut my eyes for the night. This was the first time in a long time that a slept through the entire night. After sleeping on the mattress I wake up feeling very refreshed and well rested. I would definitely recommend this mattress to those who do not believe that a mattress can arrive in a box!

The first couple of nights it was a little uncomfortable because I wasn't used to it. I have had other mattresses with memory foam but nothing like this one. The only complaint I have is that it is white but a mattress cover fixed that issue. I highly recommend if you're waking up with numbness, I am not tossing and turning anymore. I am sleeping in the same position for most of the night.
