This computer is everything I need as an engineering PhD student. It has a solid battery life and can run data analysis programs without lagging (Solidworks, MATLAB, Graphpad, etc.). The keyboard is comfortable to use. Even though the power button is in the top right corner, where I'm used to the delete key (which is right next to it), so I keep accidentally pressing it, it doesn't power off the laptop with the light touch, which I really appreciate. I do miss having dedicated home/end keys (which are now incorporated as functions on the right and left arrow keys).

HP has never disappointed and it certainly doesn't with the Omni Book 5-14! It's lightening fast, has all the storage capacity for my needs and then some, it's light weight yet durable, sleek, looks and feels good with a clear and color rich screen. I researched it and it was definitely the most bang for the buck! I highly recommend the Omni Book 5-14 for your next purchase.

Easy access to HP site. Many choices which gave me the opportunity to narrow down the laptop I wanted. It has an impressive amount of time with the snapdragon processer. I've never seen this with previous laptops. I have only purchased HP computers

Heading back to school and wanted a windows based PC. I’m an Apple user but was not happy with my MacBook Pro. Did lots of reviews and decided on HP. Absolutely love this PC. It’s fast, quiet and battery is fantastic. I enjoy using it everyday. The screen is beautiful as well. Crisp blacks and vivid colors. It feels well built. I would buy again

I bought this notebook for private use and found it very reliable and comfortable to used. Love the designed and touchscreen features the brightness of the displayed in incredible I would recommend it to anyone who want a new and improved HP laptop.

Overall, this laptop is functioning well. However, it is difficult and a bit frustrating to use it because of the keyboard, which is probably the most important peripheral. It is bad enough that the keys are not back-lit, but white letters on gray keys (i.e. low contrast) make for an unpleasant user experience. Important enough to say “I wish I knew it“ before I bought it.

Nice quality. Good screen but can be a little glary because it is very glossy. My biggest complaint is that they don't come in cool colors. Silver shouldn't even be an option these days. A few pantone colors would have been nice to choose from. Overall it is small powerful, runs cool and works good. Good keyboard. Wish it had USB-C on both sides for charging.

Comparable to the asus zenbook similar specs for a better price really like the price and laptop one thing to be aware of is the software restrictions due to the snapdragon processer very good for high school and some light gaming through emulaters be aware most coding platforms are not compatible unless through emulaters

Canadians - be aware you won't receive this laptop as pictured. All keyboards in Canada are bilingual. My keyboard came with a lot of blue symbols and French translation that makes the keyboard look busy and the laptop not as sleek and streamlined as pictured. All laptops in Canada apparently come like this. The photos shown are deceptive, I thought I received the wrong item when it arrived. Otherwise the laptop itself is light and easy to use and good for everyday tasks.
