It must not have tasted badly either because the following day when I gave her another one she didn't cry about having to take it. The wildfires have really been messing out allergies here. He chewed it up and immediately grimaced and said it was disgusting. Water didn't work so we had to wash it down with juice. It did help with sneezing and itchy eyes but now he doesn't want to take anymore because of how gross the flavor was. I don't know if it's just my kid but it's something that should be noted.

After trying soany different allergy medications for myself, I began taking Zyrtec and loved how effective it was. So when my children were really struggling with their allergy symptoms, we went right to Children's Zyrtec 10mg chewables. I give this medication to my 7 year old at night, usually bedtime. This allergy med can make you drowsy during the first 4 hours, in my experience, and because the pill gives 24 hour relief of symptoms, it will still be just as effective as if it was taken in the morning. So far, Zyrtec Children's Chewables have been highly effective for the sneezing and runny noses and especially for itchy eyes! No side effects either! As with any medications, OTC or prescription, you should definitely ask your child's pediatrician if it's appropriate for your child to take, however, I personally would recommend Zyrtec Children's Chewables. Instead of trying the others, just go straight to the best the first time around!

The grape flavor makes it easier to go down, and doesn't leave a lingering residue. I noticed his sneezing and sniffles stopped within the hour of taking it. Recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just do not feel like you get enough of the benefits for chewable, just based on a study a read because the product gets stuck in your teeth. This product works good enough though to help ease symptoms but my child was not a fan of taking them.
