Amazing carseat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Having my second baby, I’ve been on the lookout for a new car seat, so this was an incredible opportunity. I initially decided to use it for my older child, who is now forward-facing. However, I also tried it with my little one to see how it accommodates different ages. This car seat is truly remarkable. Surprisingly, it’s incredibly lightweight. I’ve encountered many convertible car seats that can be bulky and heavy, but this one was far lighter than anticipated. Despite its lightness, it maintains a sturdy feel, and I felt at ease having my toddler in it during car rides. It doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap at all. The fabric material is exceptionally soft. Initially, I was concerned about a light color fabric, but it’s surprisingly easy to spot clean. Installation was also a breeze. I tested it with both my infant and my 2.5-year-old, who is now forward-facing. Both installations were straightforward, and the kids were comfortable in both positions. The recline for rear-facing is excellent, and my toddler looks very comfortable in the forward-facing position. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed testing this car seat and am thrilled that I had the opportunity to do so. It’s definitely something I’ll be recommending to others!

Great Car Seat with a few minor tweaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall it’s been a positive experience. The design is sleek and modern, and I really like the all-in-one concept since it’s meant to grow with your child. The fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable, and my toddler genuinely enjoys riding in it, which is a big win for us. Installation was a bit tricky when installing rear-facing, especially using the LATCH system, but forward-facing was much easier. Adjusting the recline and leveling took some time to figure out, but once set up, it felt secure. My favorite feature is the soft, cozy fabric and overall look of the seat. I do wish the cup holders were a bit bigger to fit our sippy cups better, but overall this is a well-made, comfortable car seat that I’d recommend with a small learning curve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Maxi Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car Seat and were thrilled to test it through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We are just about ready to convert to an all-in-lone style car seat from our infant seat as our little one is getting a bit heavy to be transporting while still secured in the car seat. We currently have a seat that connects to the stroller. Everything was already assembled upon opening the box. A cozy, well padded, modern design complete with two cup holders. It’s a neutral light gray color fit to compliment any car design. We’ve recently leased a Volkswagen Tiguan as our Subaru Outback is very high in mileage. The dealer convinced us we would be happier with this vehicle at this stage of our little one’s life bc it has a lot of leg room in the back seat area. Making it ideal for car seat installation and accessibility. We tested the car seat out on our kitchen floor first. It’s easy to remove the infant inserts and to adjust the headrest as little one grows. It also has a reclining feature for optimal/safe positioning. After securing our 6 month old into the seat I realized how much more padding there is compared to our current infant seat. I’m slightly disappointed with our current seat as this extra padding would have been so much more ideal when our little one was an infant. Our little one seemed to be quite cozy sitting and playing with his crinkle book. He tends to fuss initially when we secure him in our current infant seat. I’ve often wondered if he’s uncomfortable. Not a peep while he was secured in the Maxi Cozi Pria! We then installed the seat in our Volkswagen. It didn’t take long. The most difficult part, while front facing, was latching to the car anchors. It just required a little bit of my weight in the seat for the clips to latch securely. My husband says it would be nice to have another inch or two to in the strap to work with but then I assume that would require a way to tighten the strap which would make it unsafe. There was plenty of leg room and our little one was easy to tend to. Rear facing on the other hand was not as ideal as it took up much more space once reclined, which require the front passenger seat to be pushed up. It left very little leg room for the front passenger. I’m not sure an adult would have been comfortable sitting in the front seat. So overall, installation is simple, but it’s too bulky of a seat if you intend on having a front passenger. We like how the cup holders are removable for easy cleaning. We like how cozy and padded the seat is. Which is a slight compromise I suppose compared to our current seat as ours is easier to wipe clean compared to the Maxi Cozi Pria that has softer fabric (which in turn is more absorbing….not good for those spit ups and blow outs!). If I were to use the Maxi Cozi Pria I’d probably try to use a seat liner. Overall I think we would rate it 3 out of 5, mostly bc of the space it takes up when rear facing. Front facing is fine in our Volkswagen. It’s a tighter fit, but still do-able, in our Subaru. 5 out of 5 on easy installation, coziness/padding/safety, and overall color/look. 3 out of 5 for bulky design.

Comfortable plush carseat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I took the Maxi Cosi Pria carseat out of the box, I was very impressed with the plush, comfortable fabrics that it is made of. This seat just has really great features including premium push on lower anchor connectors that made this carseat easy to install. I really liked the harness and crotch buckle covers that make this so comfortable for my daughter. It is very easy to adjust the harness and headrest height and there are nice little pockets to hold the harness out of the way when buckling a child in. I also appreciate a carseat that has multiple modes of use. Being able to eventually use this forward facing and as a high back booster is another great feature. The reason I'm only giving this carseat 4 stars is it is a very large bulky carseat when used rear facing. It will not fit in compact cars without moving the passenger seat up. I was able to fit it in my larger SUV but not my hatchback. It also requires a more reclined install for children under 30lbs. I needed to use a rolled towel to achieve this angle in my car even with the built in recline settings on the carseat. I would only recommend this carseat if you are putting it in a larger vehicle as baby and I really do like how comfortable and safe it feels. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing for sending us the Maxi Cosi Pria carseat to test out.

Thoughtfully designed and comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat. As a mom of 3 I have used several car seats and baby gear so I can say with confidence that this is a great car seat. I love the soft fabric and my 10 month old seems to love it too. She looks and acts so content in her new big girl car seat. Overall, I’ve been very impressed with its functionality and features. It feels thoughtfully designed, combining safety, comfort, and convenience in a way that really stands out for everyday use. The all-in-one convertible design is a huge plus. Knowing this seat can grow with my child—from rear-facing to forward-facing and eventually booster mode—makes it a great long-term investment. The padding feels plush without being bulky, and my kiddo seems very comfortable even on longer car rides. Installation was straightforward and not nearly as stressful as with some other car seats I’ve used. The instructions were clear, and adjusting the harness and headrest to get a proper, secure fit was quick and intuitive. I really appreciated how easy it was to make adjustments without having to rethread straps. What I like most about the Maxi-Cosi Pria is how it balances comfort and practicality. It feels sturdy and safe, yet still looks sleek and is easy to use day to day. Overall, it’s a reliable, comfortable, and parent-friendly car seat that I’d confidently recommend.

Maxi cosi pria

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive the Maxi Cosi Pria convertible car seat to try from Stellar Product testing panel. I have always heard good things about Maxi Cosi and their quality. When I unboxed the carseat I was surprised at how nice it looked. No busy patterns or colors. Just a nice solid colored cozy looking seat. It looks and feels like a high end product. It’s very soft and includes padding around the shoulder straps and bottom buckle. There is an included head cushion and body pillow for rear facing. All the pads and the cover are machine washable as well. The car seat was very straightforward and easy to install. It’s also very easy to adjust to fit your kiddo as they grow. I appreciate the two cupholders it comes with and how easy it is it get my big boy in the seat. He has lots of extra leg room. Overall, the simple and modern design makes me feel secure that my toddler is safe and cozy. He’ll be able to use this convertible car seat for a long time as the max weight limit is 100lbs. Highly recommend.

Maxi Cosi Car Seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Convertible Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, it has a mix of positives and drawbacks. My favorite part of this car seat is how cushioned it appears to be. The seat looks comfortable and well-padded, and my child seems content riding in it. It’s also relatively lightweight for a convertible car seat, which makes moving it between vehicles easier but makes the frame of the car seat seem cheap and not sturdy. I did find the installation a bit challenging, as it took some effort to get the seat tightened securely. While the light color looks great, it does show dirt and spills easily, so it requires more frequent cleaning. Overall, it’s a decent car seat with good comfort and design.

Great BIG convertible car seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This car seat has been great so far! We had been looking around for a larger car seat because our little one is no longer “so little” and was starting to look very uncomfortable in his infant seats. (For reference, our child is ~20 lbs, 18 inches and rear-facing.) The Maxi-Cosi Pria is a sturdy, solid car seat and our baby seems much more comfortable in this. The color is beautiful and material seems soft, durable and high-end. I appreciate the removable cupholders (there are two!) and washable fabric. Install was easy enough using the vehicle belt. I had a difficult time unbuckling the lower belt anchors but figured that out eventually, though I still found the vehicle belt install to be easier and secure. There’s no load leg, which would have provided additional peace-of-mind, but not a deal breaker. Our baby seems secure but comfortable and there’s a lot of room to grow with this car seat. Planning to use this one for years to come! Though the seat can be used rear-facing from birth, I’m not sure we would have. Our baby was tiny when born and though there are baby insert pads, it would’ve been a bit tricky putting him in, but that’s mostly personal preference. Regardless, hoping to continue using this seat for as long as a car seat and booster are needed so it’s definitely worth it! One caveat worth noting is that while this car seat is roomy and comfortable, it is also heavy and huge. It’s even bigger than our car seat-stroller combo, which is notoriously cumbersome. Probably wouldn’t recommend for folks with limited car space. We have middle row captains seats and the car seat fits perfectly there, but it was heavy for install and takes up the whole seat space. Overall, this is a great, comfortable and seemingly safe, secure car seat at a reasonable price that will be used for years to come! Though it is large, it’s only an issue for install and changing from rear to forward-facing and vice-versa. Would especially recommend this car seat for folks with larger SUVs or minivans and larger babies.

Maxi Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car Seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the mom of 4 boys who range in age from 9 years to 8 months, I’ve used and installed quite a few car seats. I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My 8-month-old is 21 lbs., so I was ready to transition him from a carrier model to this Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-One Convertible car seat. This is my first Maxi Cosi car seat that I’ve used, and I was very impressed with the quality. The fabrics feel soft and cozy. Although I love the way the fabric looks, if I were to purchase again, I would choose a darker color since my kiddos are prone to spilling. The padding around the buckle and shoulder straps seem comfortable, and the head support feels sturdy and substantial. I really appreciate that it can be used for the rest of the time my kiddo will need a car seat and booster seat. A downside for me is that it is a fairly wide seat. I have a divided bench in the second row of my SUV and I was previously able to have my infant carrier car seat/base and a slender forward facing seat in my second row, and the third bench seat was still able to easily fold or move forward for school pickup/drop off of my older boys who sit in the third row. With the Pria rear facing, the third second row seat doesn’t have that same mobility. Luckily my boys are agile climbers, so that’s not a deal breaker. That being said, I can still fit three across in my second row, which is a plus. The Pria was easy to install using the latch system; however, it did take me a longer than I expected to get it leveled to the correct line for my infant’s size. Overall, I’ll keep using this as his primary seat. I think it’s a high-quality seat that can safely be used for the rest of our car seat/booster seat years, and it is comfortable for my little one. Pros: comfortable, sturdy, quality fabrics that stayed much cleaner than I expected, can be used from infancy through booster stage, dual cup holders, easy to adjust the head supports and straps for buckling Cons: wider than other seats I was used to, lighter fabric color (although it does come in other colors), need to use a rolled towel to level the seat, which I had not done in the past

Quality and Longevity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were ready to transition my almost 9mo out of his bucket seat and preferred a convertible that could last us for all stages and years. Choosing a car seat can be stressful and overwhelming and we only wanted to have to make a decision once. Thankfully, I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but really pleased to have a seat we now love and can use for years. The Pria has very plush and quality fabric that gives it a luxurious ride at an approachable price point. My guy is on the smaller side, and he fits well within the seat. For younger or smaller babies, the seat also comes with a removable head and seat cushion for additional support as they grow. Setting up the fit was quick; they recommend seating babe in the seat before install to determine strap and headrest placement. We were all set up in five minutes, and actual car install was also fairly straightforward. The straps are no rethread, so you set it up once and can simply adjust the height or length of the seat with the adjustable headrest. This is wildly convenient, because these babies grow fast and inevitably you’ll put them in one day and realize, “crap, they grew and this headrest needs to go up.” Push, slide, click and those previous morning moments are preserved and you’re on your way. The seat buckle is incredibly easy to adjust, and the harness itself is thick and easy to tighten. In rear facing, there are several recline options, which allows for different car configurations and fits, and baby is cozy in a more reclined position as a little guy. This seat fits well in our Santa Fe, though drivers taller than 5’10-ish may want to install on the passenger side. Two built-in cup holders that can be removed and tossed in the dishwasher are perfect for babies who put all kinds of goopy, gross things in there. Overall, I’m really impressed with the look and feel of the car seat, and my baby loves riding in it!
