It looks like the batch you received was a little extra well done which is what is giving it such a dark color and a deeper flavor. The thickness of this new broth is due to the enhancement of the ingredients and additional nutrition that we were able to add to the new formulation. While the broth is completely safe to consume we understand that it is not what you were expecting, so we are more than happy to exchange your order for a new batch that we know you are going to enjoy.
