Very healthy tasting and quality product

Wish we could get unsalted, only because I have heart failure, but this is very good bone broth if you can afford it.

Hi Paula, Thank you for your wonderful feedback, I am sure that you will also enjoy the amazing health benefits of drinking our bone broth products. The sodium that is in our bone broth comes from two sources — the bones themselves and a small proportion of added organic sea salt. During the long simmer times, the minerals found in the bones leach into the water. The majority of our sodium comes from this source and only a small percentage is credited to the added organic sea salt. Naturally, occurring sodium has many health benefits, you can read more about it here: https://www.organicfacts.net/health-benefits/minerals/sodium.html If you are monitoring your sodium intake because of high blood pressure, our chicken bone broth is a good option because of the ratio of sodium to potassium. Studies have shown that aiming to eat twice as much potassium as sodium may be more effective in managing blood pressure than just reducing sodium alone. (http://www.who.int/elena/titles/guidance_summaries/potassium_intake/en/) The World Health Organization also recommends keeping sodium to potassium ratio of 1:2 to help manage blood pressure and the natural increase that comes with age. (http://www.who.int/mediacentre/news/notes/2013/salt_potassium_20130131/en/) Kettle & Fire Chicken Bone Broth has twice the amount of potassium as sodium — making it a great option if you are concerned about your blood pressure levels. In addition to this, you cannot have real bone broth without a certain amount of salt, even if you make it yourself as bones naturally break down into sodium. 85% to 90% of the sodium in our beef and chicken bone broths comes from the bones. The good news is that our bone broth is full of potassium which helps balance it out. I have a couple of articles that talk more about this: https://help.kettleandfire.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005008127-Why-are-the-Sodium-Levels-in-Your-Bone-Broth-so-High- and https://help.kettleandfire.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005108887-What-Are-the-Potassium-Levels-in-Your-Bone-Broth- Currently, we do not have plans to decrease the sodium in our bone broth nor to release a salt-free version. However, we know that many people are concerned about their sodium levels because of having to manage their blood pressure. We have a great article on how potassium and sodium work together to help manage high blood pressure. It's sure to help you: What Are the Potassium Levels in Your Bone Broth? https://help.kettleandfire.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001228607-What-Are-the-Potassium-Levels-in-Your-Bone-Broth- Thank you, Kettle and Fire Customer Support

Tasted great just really expensive

Tasted great, just wish they were larger sizes and less expensive, especially for the amount recommended to drink

Lack of Taste

The overall experience was a slightly greasy mouth feel, very very little flavor. Sorry I spent so much money on this.

Hello Tina! We are sorry if our new Beef Bone Broth isn't to your liking. We really appreciate your honest feedback. It is not as tasty as a regular broth/soup and it has an acquired taste because we have to control the spices and seasonings added to it for people who are sensitive to certain ingredients. You may need to add your favorite spices to your bone broth to improve its flavor. Personally, I love adding paprika, cumin, and ginger powder to it. We also have some great recipes on our blog that will help you incorporate our Beef Bone Broth into your regular meals so that you can still get all the benefits of bone broth in your diet. blog.kettleandfire.com/recipes I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have other questions or concerns we can address for you. ~ Anne| Kettle & Fire Happiness Team

Enjoyed both, but like the beef over the chicken. Just personal preference. So happy I am getting all the benefits of the broth.
