[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had much frozen asian inspired dishes so I was naturally skeptical on how they would taste.This dish really surprised me. First of all, I cooked mine in a skillet, on the stove, so that I could get a light brown and crisp to the chicken. I felt the serving size was great. I am a bigger eater and I was able to make 2 meals off of this.The chicken itself is real! I wasn't sure about that until I tasted it and I was very happy with the taste and tenderness of it. There was an adequate amount of spice and it didn't take away from the taste of the chicken. I do feel this would go great with just about any side dish but I chose rice and they naturally went well together. I will definitely be purchasing more and look forward to trying other dishes by this brand as well!!

The chicken stays crispy and is like I’m eating take out. The sauce has tons of flavor. I paired this white rice and will now by my quick go to dinner!

I made the chicken in the oven, which is the preferred version, but there are directions for other methods. Chicken was crispy and the sauce had sweet and spicy. Would definitely buy more!

We love Chinese food, and this chicken did not disappoint, it is flavorful, fast to make, practical and everyone loved it! The size is a plus as well, since it is value size, the whole family eats and we still have leftovers for lunch on the next day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not like the meal at all. I absolutely LOVE General Tso's chicken, it is my favorite dish to order at Asian restaurants. I was so excited to try this convenience meal, I wanted to like it; however, I was very disappointed in the flavor and texture. I followed the directions to the letter. The chicken is not uniform in size- there are some huge chunks and others look like pebbles. It doesn't cook evenly, some pieces got burnt and others were barely warm on the inside. I'm thinking it must be because of the inconsistency in size. Some pieces had noticeable chicken and others were mostly nuggets of the tempura coating. The texture was either too soft or too hard depending on which size I was eating.The sauce was offputting and did not remind me of anything I have eaten in a restaurant. I thought it had a weird malty aftertaste. I cannot recommend this product.

The larger pieces were tender but the tiny pieces got hard. There seemed to be a lot of sauce but when put on Rice there wasn't enough sauce. I did find it to be quite spicy and for the price I think I'd rather get carryout.
