The texture is slightly thick saucy wise but it tasted like white boneless chicken bites with a chewy exterior. Not too sweet but definitely there in sweetness. This just didn't hit for me but I like the brand so I'll give grace that maybe it was the batch.

The innovasian general Tso’s is a great buy, specifically because of how much time it saves on this dish. It’s not super spicy, which I generally prefer for it, and the breading is a little hit wimpy but overall? It cuts your kitchen time down and is delicious to boot. Best part is? You can make it in the microwave too!

I’ve had other meals from the InnovAsian brand which all were pretty good for a quick and easy meal in the microwave and the General Tso’s was also just as easy. Pan, air fryer or microwave options make this an easy fix for a quick meal. I personally like to take the lazy way and go the microwave route… they were not as crispy as maybe would have been cooked an alternative way but still enjoyable. The portion was not what I expected as I assumed it would feed more people, but it still was a decent amount. A bit spicy for my taste but my husband loved it.

Honestly, the quality was superb & it was definitely an authentic tasting, Asian food. My family loved it also. It only takes a few minutes to microwave. Very convenient! We will be buying more of these, & plan to add rice, & several dishes for a bigger meal to host for our extended family soon. Nobody will know the best dish was microwaved in a few minutes right?

I was a bit skeptical about it coming frozen because we like to cook fresh, but as soon as I tried it , my mind completely changed. My whole family thought I worked hard all day on dinner. The packaging advertised 18oz, but the box was barely half full, making it feel like poor value for the price. The cooking instructions were very easy to follow, and the texture of the chicken turned out great—crispy outside and tender inside. Unfortunately, the flavor was lacking; the sauce tasted very watery and didn’t have the bold, savory, slightly spicy profile I expected. It’s possible I just got a one-off bad box, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t purchase it again.

I tried innovasian general tso chicken and it was simple to make and authentic tasting as well. I will have to try more from this brand.

Often times the chicken is over processed and taste horrible. That was not the case for this one. The meat was really good. It was a quick main dish and we just added some rice. Will buy again.
