[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family can be very picky when it comes to frozen meals. Therefore, I didn’t expect them to like this General Tso’s dinner, but the did! It really tastes good and you can’t tell that it’s a frozen meal. The price is very reasonable for what you get. I can’t wait to try the other flavors!

Love that it is all white meat chicken breast is lightly tempura battered for a crispy texture. It has a spicy Asian-style barbecue sauce and sesame seeds to top the chicken breast.

My son also thought it was too spicy, but he really liked the flavor of it. I would definitely try other varieties though .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this is the best version of General Tso’s chicken I’ve had. I did learn that the food is better if the sauce packet is emptied onto the chicken during the last five minutes of cooking. Otherwise it just runs right off of it onto the plate. With that said, I don’t know if I would purchase this in the future because; about half of the chunks in the bag of breaded chicken is just bread. There is probably a ratio that leaves more than twice as much bread to chicken in this package. I do appreciate that there is no MSG but there is a lot of sugar so I personally cannot eat this anymore. My son liked it but he did confirm that there was a lot of bread. He did say the sauce had a really nice kick to it that he wasn’t expecting so that was really awesome. It is a fairly quick and easy Treat for those that are OK eating a lot of bread and sugar. I am so grateful that I was able to try this brand for free!

Preheat the oven on 400° place sauce pouch in bowl of bowl water Open the bag of chicken and dispútese evenly on to an oven sage container Bake in iced for 17-19 min Open sauce pouch stir in sauce with chicken Bake an additional 2-3 minutes And dinner is served! Sweet savory with a kick, delicious and filling meal!

The chicken cooked up nicely in the oven, and there was actually plenty of sauce to coat everything, which was a nice surprise. The flavor was okay—not quite restaurant quality, but still enjoyable for a quick meal. It pairs well with a side of rice or some added veggies to make it more complete. While it’s not a mind-blowing dish, it definitely gets the job done and is one of the better frozen options I’ve had. Would buy again for an easy dinner night.
