[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this is a pretty solid make at home meal but its not exactly like any take out that I've ever had but it is good. We cooked the chicken in an air fryer so it got real crispy and then covered it with the sauce. You do get a TON of sauce, way more than we used, so you will have plenty. While the taste is pretty good, it is not really general tso's chciken - closer to chicken nuggets with sauce.

I don’t know if they are my favorite General Tso’s I have ever had but these were not bad. The sauce has chili pepper flakes and sesame seeds. It is really spicy which I enjoyed very much.

I cooked the chicken in the air fryer, and the pieces came out big, juicy, and tender. The sauce tasted good, though it was more like a teriyaki sauce than the traditional General Tso’s flavor I was expecting. I followed the serving suggestion by splitting the sauce into three equal parts and serving it over green beans, with about five pieces of chicken per serving. There was definitely more sauce than needed, but everything was still really tasty. Even though it didn’t quite hit the classic General Tso’s flavor, it was still a delicious and satisfying meal.

I served this over white rice, had dinner ready in 10 minutes. My only comment is about the packaging, the box is a bit large for the amount of chicken you get out of it.

I found the innovasian general tso’s chicken in the freezer isle at the store and thought i would give it a shot. It was easy to make, and tasted better than any Chinese restaurant we’ve found! The spice was perfect! I really like that it came with split sauce bags, so you didn’t have to make the whole box if you didn’t want to. My family devoured it after I made it and even went back for seconds! I consider that a win since my girls are super picky eaters! This will become a regular added to our meal rotation! Makes for a very easy meal for a busy weekday evening!

The packaging advertised 18oz, but the box was barely half full, making it feel like poor value for the price. The cooking instructions were very easy to follow, and the texture of the chicken turned out great—crispy outside and tender inside. Unfortunately, the flavor was lacking; the sauce tasted very watery and didn’t have the bold, savory, slightly spicy profile I expected. It’s possible I just got a one-off bad box, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t purchase it again.

It's easy to make, and there are a few ways to cook it. It only takes about 20 minutes to prepare, perfect for a busy day. The chicken is moderately spicy. For my picky kid, I skipped the sauce on a few pieces and made them plain. The chicken is very tender. It's all white meat, and there are no chewy parts. We usually eat this with rice. It's perfect for an easy dinner.
