The chicken is crispy and has a nice crunch to it. This is restaurant quality chicken. Just heat and serve!

The packaging is well done: chicken and sauce come in separate bags, and instructions are clear and easy to follow. There are multiple cooking methods, and I found that oven or air fryer preparation gives the best texture. The chicken comes out fairly crispy, though the consistency can vary with some pieces being small or dry. Nutritionally, each serving is around 390 calories with 10 grams of fat and 34 grams of sugar, so it’s not the lightest option and is high in sodium at 880 milligrams. That said, I appreciate that it uses white meat and has no added MSG. The biggest drawback is the portion size. The package says three servings, but it did not go very far, especially for a family. Overall, I give it three out of five stars. It is a flavorful and convenient meal, but with room for improvement in portion size and consistency.

The chicken is juicy and it has a nice spicy sweet flavor. The chicken when baked (recommended instructions) is crispy and retains a bit of the crunch even with the sauce. The only negative would be the amount of chicken. When I saw 18oz on the package, I did not expect that the majority of the weight would be the sauce packet. It was enough for two people, but it was also supplemented with rice and another side.

The sauce is sweet but not overbearing, we eat it with white rice or pork fried rice from the same company, and we add extra veggies. They come in small-size boxes and family sizes. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking to save some money and make Chinese food at home.

But once it came out of oven, everything changed. It was super easy to prepare, and the texture turned out great. I was unsure if the sauce packet would be enough, but it ended up being the perfect amount. I just had to mix it well to evenly coat all the pieces. The flavor was excellent - bold, with just the right amount of spice to give it a little kick without being overwhelming. Portion-wise, it was more than enough for one person and left me totally satisfied. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely be buying this again! Delicious.
