The new packaging is terrible. It no longer has the styrofoam packing with the insert under the chicken to catch the juices so now it just marinates in the chicken liquid. It’s slimy, it stinks, and it’s so much messier to deal with. Please bring back the styrofoam 😭

I have been getting the chicken in the trays for years and didn’t see them on the app for a week. So finally went into the store to be told that they changed them to these bags and I don’t know what all that water in the pouches are, the chicken is slimy and smells weird. I’m gonna start getting my chicken elsewhere. I heard BJ’s is good.

This new package STINKS as it does not contain several breasts and you can’t see what you’re getting. I’d take all of the breasts from previous package and cook them in crockpot, put in 2 ziplock bags and freeze one until I needed it. I went to Aldis store and bought 2 packages of uniform sized chicken breasts that I could see and contained approximately 7 To 8 breasts.

I agree with all the other disappointing reviews. Packaging is sloppy, slimy and the worst part is the chicken poor taste and texture. Bring back your old provider to keep your loyal customers happy! The only good reviews you’ve received on this “new” chicken are the ones that were paid for through promotions. Hey Sam’s are you listening to your customers?

If I could give zero stars I would. Every package was leaking but stupidly I bought it anyways. Now I’m returning it. It has a weird/off smell. It’s so slimy and gross. Why did they change it? Must be cheaper. 🙄

New packaging is the worst! Always leaking, full of liquid, can't see what you're actually buying. Chicken itself does not seem as good a quality as before. We buy 40 pounds per month and I'm over it already.

The new chicken an packaging is awful. The packaging is messy and difficult to open without a mess. There’s so much water in the package that the weight must be off. The chicken is also currently slimey! Will not purchase again.

The new packaging is awful. It was leaky and a pain to work with. The quality of the chicken was awful. It's soaking in its own liquid and was not cut as well. The breasts seem smaller than before. Go back to the previous packaging and cuts.
