I have always bought the family sized chicken from Sam's and I suggested it to a friend. I guess the week I did they had a new package and smaller size. We had dinner with them and cooked the chicken.. it was so different and slimy. I felt so bad I had told them it was great quality…

This is the worst chicken I've ever bought! The chicken is so watery I can't vacuum seal it at home. The meat is somehow stringy when raw and cooked it's either mushy or rubbery, nothing in between. The breasts are inconsistent in size and in the 50 lbs we bought maybe half are a full breast. You can't fillet most of them because the underside is so hacked up. And now we are supposed to pay over double per pound as of today. I can get it locally for that price and it's a better quality. Changing the packaging should not mean the product a lesser quality product.

The chicken is fresh , stores well in the fridge or freezer, and cooks evenly. When not overcooked, it stays tender and surprisingly juicy for a lean cut. The taste is clean with no odd aftertaste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chicken is a good value for the price. My only gripe is that the chicken breasts are not trimmed of all fat and I have to do that myself. Throwing those pieces away stinks up my trash. Other than that, I like this chicken and will continue to purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The burguer looks great , it is has really pleasant texture , and the flavor is amazing. I love pairing it with vegetables and rice. I would definitely bit it a thousand times over, and its great value for the money

We keep our sams membership because it's where we buy all our meat. Our membership is going out this month and this chicken was the final nail in the coffin of choosing not to keep the membership. Why would you make the switch from something that has worked perfectly fine for decades to throwing wet chicken in a vacuum seal bag that doesn't actually seal so the chicken gets slimy and it leaks everywhere...?

The new packaging is terrible! Great concept that you could potentially just cut the packs and put it in the freezer but it's covered in slime and each pack is filled with liquid. The breasts are a little smaller which is nice but it's hard to actually tell what size they are in the bag. I still had to open each pouch to put in new food saver bags to then put in the freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these chicken breasts! I love that they’ve moved to packing 2 breasts per section but I got 10 chicken breasts total! It’s makes it easier to portion out when pulling from the freezer. They cook well and are DELICIOUS and juicy!
