There was very little fat on the chicken. It cooks up very nicely. The pack are the perfect size for freezing. All I had to do was separate the packs and fit them nicely in the freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These chicken breasts are fresh and convenient and the culinary possibilities are endless. However, this time I sliced them up, tossed them in fajita seasoning and pan fried them with peppers & green onions before a quick simmer in tomato sauce. They can turn out a bit rubbery on their own but they cook up fine when you mix them in with plenty of ingredients. The chicken worked well stuffed and rolled into extra large flour tortillas with rice, black beans, refried beans, guacamole, cheese, pico, sour cream, lettuce and green hot sauce. The burritos turned out very tasty. The breasts come refrigerated, but I vacuum seal whatever I don't use immediately and store them in the freezer. It's a handy staple...although I do prefer their tenderloins over their chicken breasts.

I just bought this new style package of chicken breasts from my local Sam's Club. Today, when I opened it, I found some major problems with the new packaging. I immediately contacted the fresh meat department at my local Sam's Club. Curious to see if other customers were having similar issues, I checked the online reviews. I was not surprised to see that the most recent reviews of this product are all one-star complaints about this new packaging. Just like the other reviews state, there is too much liquid inside the packs, and the chicken breasts are not fresh. However, I discovered an even bigger issue. The whole pack of chicken breasts I got had a tag indicating a net weight of 5.8 lbs. But because all the liquid and packaging material felt quite heavy, I decided to weigh just the chicken breasts by themselves. They weighed only 5 lbs. This means I paid $2.88×0.8=$2.30 just for the packaging! This is not right at all. The meat department told me I should contact the main office because the chicken packages come to them already weighed and labeled. They agreed that it was absurd to pay that much just for packaging. I hope Sam's Club takes notice of all the complaints lately regarding this new chicken breast supply. Until this problem is solved, I think I will have to buy my chicken breasts somewhere else.

Hate the packaging! You can not see the condition of the breast. The packaging lies says 2-3 breast per pouch. I have experienced getting cheated by quantity. Way too much fat left on the chicken breast. Come on now, my father was a butcher and taught me how to pick my meats. Corporate is cheating customers by using this packaging, and how it is cut. What's not broken don't try to fix! We pay for quality and quantity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Member's Mark boneless and skinless chicken breast to making sizzling chicken fajitas and it turned out great. The chicken was trimmed well, fresh, had great texture, and wasn't chevy or fatty. It sliced evenly and cooked evenly in the skillets. The flavor is clean and mild and didn't had a bad aftertaste. It held onto the fajita seasoning quite well and didn't release excessive amounts of moisture allowing for a good sear. Overall, I was impressed with the quality and price. It was great for family meals and can be used for pretty much anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made beer battered chicken with these and it came out really good. The chicken tasted fresh, cooked evenly, and stayed tender on the inside. I also liked that the pieces were a nice size and easy to work with., which made dinner a lot easier to put together.

I have been shopping at Sam's for over 30 years. Now everything hasn't been perfect, but quality isn't normally the issue with food products. Today I purchased boneless skinless chicken breasts. I was very dissatisfied with this purchase. Each pack seems to hold 2 breasts. When I opened 2 of the packs to use for dinner, I noticed the pieces were, how can I say this…I'm no butcher and neither is the person who processed these pieces. They were butchered (no pun intended) looking like someone wasn't allowed to use sharp knives. The inconsistency with the size of the breasts also was ridiculous. In one pack I had a 9.9 oz breast and a 5 oz breast. That makes cooking more difficult. Finally, I really don't like the new packaging. With the old packaging I may have been able to avoid this. Maybe that's the idea.
