We couldn't be happier with our new 85-inch VIZIO Quantum Series Mini LED TV! The picture quality is absolutely stunning, with vibrant colors, incredible clarity, and beautiful detail. The massive screen makes watching movies, sports, and our favorite shows feel like having our own personal movie theater! We recently updated our den, and this TV was the perfect finishing touch. The picture is crisp, the colors really pop, and the overall viewing experience has exceeded our expectations. We also purchased it during a Sam's Club sale, making an already fantastic purchase an even better value! If you're considering upgrading to a larger TV with amazing picture quality, we highly recommend this one. this is a great flat screen tv. its the top tier model of the two 85"s that vizio sells. the speakers built in is sufficient so no soundbar is needed the os is quick and not complicated. i do wish there was a way to customize the home screen to only the apps you are subscribed to but thats not possible with any brand overall what i paid, im happy and its huge in person

I prepared to get this mounted and used a minimalistic mount rather than use my full motion mounts that I had used with my 75" and 65" tvs. I saw no need to use that type of mount and found a very cheap one here that holds the TV tight to the wall. it was safely delivered the next day without any drama. I had to clear out some room to get it out of the box and had to get help mounting it but it was very simple. the picture is better than my TCL 75" that is 1.5 years old. But what's more important is ease of use. the TCL was tossed together and then they tried to work with all their bad ideas afterwards by constantly updating the software which makes s mess of controlling it. the Vizio TV was well thought out before the started making it making sure that it was laid out correctly and was able to easily get to what you needed without going through a bunch of pages with tons of choices on each page that are repeated on other pages making things confusing and impossible to find. the Vizio designers have an American feel to their TVs and made sure to get it right the first time. the remote isn't much better than the TCL but right away you can see exactly what I'm saying about the thought in design, the Vizio remote is made with the back end of it being fatter than the front, so when you pick it up you know which way it's facing and you won't constantly be hitting the mute or any of the stupid pay channels every time you you touch it. the volume and mute are up higher do they're less likely to be changed plus the buttons are a bit harder and smaller which ensures you're less likely to push them by accident. there is a need to have a Walmart or Vizio account before you can use it which I thought was not a great idea but you'll see that with most every new TV now. I immediately noticed that the channels were not just a long list of empty spaces that needed a subscription to view, TCL makes you go through tons of channels you need to join or start a trial to see but they leave them in their line up and picking out favorites fies nothing you're still clicking them and there is no way just to see those favorites. the picture quality is just better it's not like the TCL is bad but this one is noticably brighter and has more controls that allow you to dial it in for you're viewing and the controls are just s few clicks away to get back there. no endless scrolling searching for pages that make no sense when you are searching for that setting. but they're constantly moving everything with constant updates that make things worse each time. this is only my first hour with this TV if I find any big flaws I'll return but I have a good feeling and finally I can change channels on one TV and not have the other connected to my computer changing settings and inputs each time I touch s remote. TCL TVs all use the same remote with no pairing available so any 2 in the same area or even in another room will change them both. very bad ideas are what TCL is built on.

super nice picture %26 sound for the money. no need for a soundbar unless you want the theater type sub woofer bass, connected to my old surround sound receiver via Bluetooth receiver %26 headphone setting. it's big, your going to need help if you want to hang it on a wall %26 for sure buy a sturdy enough wall mount. no problems so far , just all joy.

This is an incredible TV for the price. Less than a year ago a Mini-LED TV 85 inches was minimum $1,100 . It seems quite sturdy and was very easy to wall mount with my wife. (Mount not included)

Affordable, sleek, amazing picture and sound, lightweight for its size. I have a small theater in my bedroom. Google TV was also a nice surprise. I have to add that this was packaged perfectly to protect all parts! I was able to connect to all of my apps seamlessly too! Easy to use remote functions. I like that I can be getting ready in bathroom and still see it at all angles.

I bought the 85in for my basement mainly to watching movies and sports. The screen size is great, and the Vizio menu was solid, but it claims to be “120hz” but it is not, it is 60hz and it shows. The picture for sports is okay, but not stellar. I’d say if you are mostly watching shows and playing game consoles the tv is great but not for sports.

Almost returned this TV due to issues with connecting to WiFi and not having an ethernet connection. Would not connect to my WiFi 7 router. Found a workaround using an older router and creating a separate network for the TV otherwise it would constantly display "software update failed " every time it was turned on. Vizio support was appalling they blamed my ISP for the issues. Apart from that issue the TV has a decent picture as long as it is not trying to upscale the image. On that front this TV fails miserably. But for a budget big TV that I use for streaming I can overlook the issues.
