I purchased this generator to replace and older unit. Setup was easy and it was running within minutes. It is much quieter than expected and the tri-fuel capability provides great fuel optionality. The physical unit is a little smaller than I expected which is good. I also appreciate the wheel kit, as I got tired of flats on the unit this one replaced. I am very happy with the purchase.

Bought this for the crazy ice storm we had on March 29th 2025. The sump pump was running every 10 minutes at one point. We stayed up all night manually bailing until we got ahold of this unit. It’s been running for 5 days now and our power is expected to be off for another 3. It runs 24 hours a day to power the sump pump and freezer. Yesterday, I had a generlink installed so we could run the furnace, hot water tank, lights etc. This baby has had no issues at all. Hums along beautifully and is excellent on fuel. I’m getting about 13 hours of run time off of 30 litres. I changed the oil after the break in period. Easy to do without a drain plug, I prefer the hose. I highly recommend this unit.

We just experienced a major ice storm here in Ontario and our power was out for 4 days. I have a honda generator but it would not start. This is the second time that when it was needed that it did not work. So much for a "quality" product. I searched for a new replacement and after many hours reading reviews, decided on the tri fuel 10000W electric start generator. I received it 2 days later. The unit was well packaged and even had a plastic dust cover in the packaging. I used the 9 step quick start guide which explained how to add the wheels and legs, add the oil (included in the box and even included the funnel) and then set up to run using my choice of fuel In this case I used propane. This whole process took less than 20 minutes. I wheeled the generator onto the driveway and it started in less than 3 seconds! This was so easy and I had power from my outlets to run my sump pump and refridgerators etc. I could not be happier with the quality of the build, the delivery and instructions. I hope to have this for years to come. I am now looking to add a GenerLink to my electrical meter for easy backup power when needed. I also have a travel trailer and plan to use this Champion generator with it as well.

Just bought this and got it ready to start in under 5 minutes. This will be used in the recent Edison power outages plaguing Southern California. This was super easy to set up and I'm both glad and grateful that Champion still supports the little guys in the effort to keep our homes and families energized when even the major power companies fail.

This is a good choice for a replacement generator that will be great when power outages from winter and spring time storms. Like the option of running on gasoline or LP gas and a recoil starter for a backup if battery is low. Also come in handy for running power tool equipment in a isolated location.

The Champion 201438 generator is built well and will stand up to daily loading in and out of the work truck. It is easy to assemble, and performs admirably on any fuel option, including natural gas or propane. I love the user-friendly design and the ability to run both 110V and 220V. The ability to power most well pumps (220V) is a must for my operations. The value and performance of this generator make it a solid choice for anyone needing portable power.
