This is the best protein product in the marketplace, hands down. Don't bother with the others. This tastes delicious and has the same caloric count as similarly priced competitors. You can tell the quality of the chocolate is superior, it's Ghirardelli! None of that cocoa powder after taste this is delicious, almost indulgent! I have mine with water but water and milk are great too!

Absolutely amazing tasting protein. The Ghirardelli collaboration really stands out `î smooth, rich flavor with no chalky aftertaste. Mixes easily and actually tastes like a treat instead of a typical protein shake. Great for post-workout or even as a dessert replacement. Definitely one of the best tasting whey proteins I`ve tried.

Decent for protein, I wouldn't say it matches Ghirardelli flavor but it's a good chocolate flavor. Not sure why someone would rate it bad and say they prefer dark chocolate, it's not supposed to be dark chocolate. I hate the raw chocolate, this is much better.

I'm no expert on protein powder but this the best I've ever had. It is very good and thank goodness, no-chalky-taste. One thing I've observed is that no matter what I add, a banana, maybe blueberries, one day strawberries and my favorite, orange...the taste of the fruit or nuts have never come through. It tastes the same with or w/o any fruit or nuts. Like a Wendy's Frosty with darker, richer chocolate. It's good but rather expensive. I did the math...made as directed $1.25 a shake.

Raw dark chocolate protein powder has been my hands down favorite for years now, with that dark chocolate bite making it taste like the best milkshake ever. I love Ghirardelli dark chocolate bars (72% cocoa), and eat a square every day as dessert after lunch. So when I saw they now have a protein powder i immediately bought a canister. It does not have a dark chocolate flavor, if anything it reminds me of those malted milk balls I used to eat as a kid. If you like a serious dark chocolate flavor, skip this and get Raw brand. I've never returned anything to Sam's, let alone a food item I've opened, but this is going back.

This is one of the worst protein drinks I have tasted in the last 20 years. Had better shakes from off brands at Walmart, Aldi, and even DG. This Protein power doesn't taste like good chocolate, the powder does not disperse nor dissolve well and even with water it is very tick. You have to add more liquids to make it smoother and enjoyable, thus further reducing the “taste”. The extra 5 servings you get for the price compared to other brands is not worth it to me.

Just like others have said, really good by itself as a shake after a workout but even better as a Ninja Creami base if you mix this with the milk of your choice, Greek yogurt, pudding mix, and Oreos. Would buy again for sure

This is the smoothest and best chocolate protein I`ve ever had. Usually chocolate can get boring because it`s so basic, but this is the complete opposite. Bought it on a whim and I`m glad I did.

It's good in flavor I'll give it that. But it doesn't mix well (2 scoops in a 22oz bottle with a ball still has clumps) and it's higher calorie than comparable products.
