The flavor is very similar to regular Doritos, and the texture difference was minimal to me, slightly denser, but still flakey, not unpleasant. If anything, they reminded me a bit of a more “deep fried” texture. I also did a blind taste test with my kids, and 2 out of 4 actually preferred the protein version, which was surprising. These are a solid option if you want something with added protein that still tastes close to the original!
