They help protect the skin from urine and also from furniture and mattresses . They absorb odors really well. They stay in place all night . I use them for my patients and my wee littles at home.

I wouldn't recommend lifting someone using these, they are made for incontinence purposes. They absorb a lot! Very pleased and very satisfied.
