I've been taking it daily for about 20 years now and it works most of the time. But some days I need something else so I don't feel like I'll start breathing fire or actually get sick from how bad the heartburn gets. These Esomprazole magnesium delayed release really helped supplement my omeprazole and got rid of the heartburn. It took about 20 minutes and I felt so much better.

As far as effectiveness, it worked the same as the brand name. Taken on an empty stomach, I felt better within the first day, and definitely better after a few days.
