I bought this a few days ago and went to put it in the cabinet. As soon as I did, the lid slid off and shattered (I did make sure it was in place before I carried it). I will probably look for one that has a better lid and handle. I do enjoy the look and the spout worked fine on mine.

2 out of 3 broke within a week after filling up with water and ice.

Have 4 for our church, great durable spout, doesn't leak. Nice looking.

I think they may have changed this item since the previous reviews. Heavy glass. Quality item with heavy silicone plug, fast flow of beverage and the top has a nice silicon seal. Love so much I'm ordering another.

I bought this on impulse didn't use it for several months, during which it sat safely in the box. Finally used it for about a week and loved it.... but when I tried to refill it the following week, a chunk of glass popped out of the bottom edge, spilling tea everywhere. I've treated it gently and the tea was not hot.
