Member's Mark Diced Tomatoes in Tomato Juice, 14.5 oz., 12 pk.

I want to make soup this winter season...this find has come in handy.

Great canned diced tomatoes

As good as it gets for Diced Tomatoes.  Their store brands are  great.

Great Store Brand

Made some sausa (same recipe that we have used 100s of times) using these canned tomatoes for the first time and the result was horrendous. I suspected it was due to the (bad) quality of the tomatoes so i got a different brand and remade the sausa - it was excellent as always. The picture on the can looks perfect but what you get is a different story. These tomatoes do not add any value (i.e taste). AVOID

Worst canned tomatoes; totally tasteless!

This is basically just tomatoes and sea salt, with citric acid and calcium chloride added for preservation.  I love that other spices are not included because I like to create my own flavor.  I smash some and puree the rest of the tomatoes as my sauce base.  I used to blanch my tomatoes, but that is time consuming.  I found that these canned tomatoes taste just as good as blanching fresh tomatoes……. Just EASIER!  Also, the can is a NON-BPA LINER.
