Bought these because the ingredient list led me to believe they would be very good. Tastes more like a plain vanilla cookie and not like a shortbread. Very dry as if too much flour was added to get more cookies out of a recipe.

Shortbread is made of flour, butter, sugar. If eggs are added, it is no longer shortbread. I have been making shortbread using a family recipe that came from Scotland with my grandparents for over 50 years. There are no eggs in shortbread and the cookies should be on the crisp side, not soft. Really disappointed.

I wish I could get my money back, but I bought these after Christmas. These are not Shortbread Cookies. They don't even come close to the taste of Shortbread. Sam's Club really should look up tye definition of Shortbread cookies. Shortbread has butter, not Palm Oil in it's ingredients. Look it up in any dictionary or Google it. Shortbread only should consist of sugar, butter, a dash of salt, and flour. That is it!! This stuff had NO BUTTER, and thus is not Shortbread nor tastes like it.

Over a third of the cookies were crumbs. Was planning to take to work but cannot do that now.

I would definitely buy them my mom loves them also

Super dry and no flavor. Ended up giving them away. Thought they would taste like the cookies in the tin but these are different and generic tasting.
