Amazing machine

I like this vacuum for carpet and hardwoods. It has been doing a great job keeping up with dog hair. BUT it is almost impossible to vacuum stairs. It needs to be held at the perfect angle so the suction doesn’t get cut off if the hose kinks. It’s just a pain in the butt! So I took a star off for that.

I've had a Bissell vacuum for 3.5yrs that started to sound weird and my husband didn't qant to keep replacing the belt anymore so we bought this Dyson because it was on sale. Unfortunately, it's no match for our blue heeler mutt that sheds like crazy. I've had to take out my old vacuum, despite its dying sound, to get rid of the dog hair on my rug as the Dyson did NOT work at all, despite using all the attachments and settings. I would've returned but customer service told me I'd need to return it to the store where it was picked up, which is over an hour away, so I guess I'm stuck with this.

I was excited to finally get a dyson. For the first year it worked great. 2nd year suction started diminishing, and then motor died. For this kind of money I feel like I was robbed. I had a dirt devil for years that never gave me any trouble for $200 less

Bought on 1/4/2025, have the DC41 thats getting old, and like the previous reviews, it's not as good as the dc41. Our house is wall to wall carpeting except bathrooms, and it is hard to push on carpet, and couple inches shorter. Not happy with it and looking to return before the 30 days are up.
