A lot of these MTG complaints sound more like scalpers talking than actual players enjoying the game. Every Magic player knows that if your goal is to maximize value, you buy singles. That's been true for years. So why buy a box like this? For the nostalgia. For the excitement of opening packs. For the chance at some great pulls. Most importantly, for the opportunity to sit down and play Magic. I bought this box knowing exactly what it was. Was I upset about the price? Not at all. I've watched people spend thousands of dollars opening high-end products and walk away with a handful of lands and a single chase rare. That's the nature of sealed product. This set is exactly what it advertises itself to be: a chance to open something amazing, a chance to build decks, and a chance to enjoy the game. What surprises me are the people obsessing over secondary market prices while acting like they're speaking for the entire community. Not every card has to pay for the box. Not every purchase has to turn a profit. Sometimes it's okay to just enjoy opening packs and playing Magic. If you're a new player looking for something fun to crack open, throw together a deck, and start playing, this set at $25 is honestly a steal. Stop worrying about what every card is worth and start enjoying what the game is worth.

Release the limit, Sam's.... I would have bought another 6 of these at the higher price if I didn't have a 2 set limit. Sam's needs to remove the limit cap once they put them on clearance if they want to move them. Fantastic deal however and a ton of fun!!!

Got this on clearance for $17. The promo card was very slightly creased and only noticeable if you looked very closely at it so I can't give this product 5 stars. However, I managed to pull $55 worth of cards out of the play boosters alone not even counting the jump start boosters and the promo card. Not everyone will get as lucky as I, some may get even luckier but if you can manage to get this product for at a high clearance discount like I did, it's hard to lose on it.

My rating was due to SAMs club shipping my items with a broken case of cans, no protection … causing one box damage BUT they would Not replace Not refund, Not allow me to buy another one … all due to their restrictions when it comes to collector cards … so basically offered me 5$ only in SAMs cash I refused then they gave me 10$ SAMs cash back but I really wanted a good condition box of the magic cards …

Prices of each individually come out way less then the so called “bundle”. The “promo” card is worth 50 cents. This needs to be $20.

Such a terrible deal; Sam's Club should be embarrassed.

usually mtg is priced well at sams. this is above market and not worth the buy.

This should be priced at least $20 less

absolutely not worth the money. I'm dying for Sam's to carry good MTG products... but this aint it.

terrible price point for this.
