By that at night I like to sleep in a folder climate but it also tends to really effect my skin and this is just thick enough to provide hydration so in the morning my skin doesn't feel dry.

At first I was worried it was going to be too greasy and heavy, but with a little persistance, it absorbed better than I thought it would. After massaging it in to my skin at bedtime, it felt really heavy at first and then it was like my skin drank all of it and it wasn't heavy and greasy anymore. It was a weird sensation. It was a little sticky after that, but then it settled down and just right. There was no residue when I work up in the morning. To be honest, I don't feel like it did much for my skin. I didn't notice any improvrments or firmness or any of that. Maybe I need to use it longer. It didn't break me out. It just didn't do anything noticeable. Maybe it would be better for someone with really dry skin. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to write home about. I'll stick with the pink Oil of Olay, which I love!

The texture is light and creamy, not too thick and therefore easy to apply. The skin absorbs it easily, not leaving any greasy residue or such on the skin. It instantly feels more smooth and hydrated. The scent is barely noticeable and therefore well suited for a night cream. I would recommend it.

As a woman of 51 years of age, I've been on the prowl for a great retinol night cream. I'm delighted with Olay Ultimate. It goes on smoothly and only requires a small amount to cover my entire face and neck. My dermatologist recommended retinol to help with the sun damage I have from countless summers of baking in the sun. I'm curious to see how well Olay Ultimate does in fading them. A small amount -dime size - is all I need to cover my face. I can easily see this jar lasting me about 3 months. My skin feels soft, smooth and hydrated without being a grease pit. I'm so pleased with Olay Ultimate and can't wait to continue using it as part of my nightly skin routine.
