I would put it on at night after a shower and in the morning after I wash my face. It doesn't sit heavy on your face. It makes your skin feel so soft after you apply it on your face and neck. I can tell a difference in my face from these past 7 day's. My face looks younger and vibrant. Olay is a premium product you can count on. I have three generations of family that love Olay. I have heard so much positive buzz about using retinol now I know why!This is a wonderful addition to the Olay lineup. This is a creamy night cream that soaks into the skin and penetrates my fine lines and wrinkles. When I wake up in the morning my skin looks even and fuller. It gives me a more youthful appearance. They say you can use it during the day, but I would add sunscreen to it. The texture is perfect for the upcoming colder months because it's on the thicker side. I would definitely recommend it to all of my friends and family, especially the ones with a mature skin types. I appreciate the fragrance free aspect too. My skin is brighter and softer!!!

Applied to clean bare dry skin, even just the minimal amount to feel moisturized, creates unacceptable pilling. It may look ok for a second like it's all soaked in, go about my evening doing things and touch my face an hour later to feel a filmy layer of product (it DOES feel light and smooth but still some kind of film like a primer that won't quite stay put on the skin). Aside from the pilling and filmy feeling, it does feel light, smooth, and is gentle to skin. I can't say it does anything for wrinkles because I am being rushed to write this review with an impending due date…so I can't see any improvements yet…

The packaging is smart and classy and the bluish jar will look good in any cabinet or shelf. It is a small bottle but you do not need much each night to be very effective. It is fragrance free and that is literally true as there's absolutely no smell at all. The cream is thick and smooth and quickly absorbs into the skin. I could definitely see the difference even after a few days as my skin felt plumper and smoother with less fine lines in my forehead and around my mouth.
