GreenPan Frost 15-in-1, Ice Cream Maker & Slushie Machine

This unit is so cool, made the vanilla ice cream first,it came out perfect in about 28 minutes,can’t wait for the next batch,would definitely recommend this to anyone

The Frost is AMAZING!! It is quieter than I thought it would be. It made ice-cream in less than  an hour. My favorite thing is the "spiked slushie" mode. This is my new favorite thing for 2025!!!

Best machine ever. Love the fact you can make smoothies/slushies and ice cream all from the same machine. I have purchased 3 so far. We have 1 in our motorhome, 1 at our weekend retreat and 1 in our pool house.

I received the Frost Pro from GreenPan as a gifted product, and it has honestly been so fun to use at home. The new gelato function is my favorite feature because the texture comes out super creamy and rich, just like a real gelato shop.

I also love that there's no pre-freezing required. You can just add your ingredients, press a button, and have frozen treats ready in as little as 15 minutes. We've already made gelato, soft serve, and frozen drinks, and everything has turned out so good.

It's easy to use, quick, and perfect for making desserts at home without all the planning ahead. Definitely one of those appliances we've been using nonstop lately!

Ice cream maker

I was really excited about this machine and even paid for faster shipping. I thought it would outshine other options since it can make both slushies and soft serve in one unit. Unfortunately, it hasn’t lived up to those expectations.

First it is loud, more like having a vacuum running in the distant background. Not ideal if you’re trying to watch TV or be in the same room.

Second, the design of the top opening is frustrating. The slots are so small that liquid easily spills if you pour too quickly, and once it’s inside, you can’t really access the mix. You can't even see the end of the frozen drink due to the front piece you put on (I just don't).

The results are also inconsistent, even when following Greenmachine’s recipes. The soft serve, for example, never comes out firm enough to hold in a cone, which was a big disappointment.

On top of that, the machine shuts off after about two hours after getting to chill. With a minimum batch size of 24 oz, that’s a lot for a single adult to get through before it shuts off, making it impractical unless you’re serving a family or group.

I really wanted this machine to work, but between the noise, design flaws, short chill time, and inconsistent output, it just doesn’t meet the mark.

One positive thing: I love the color!

Good Concept, But Needs Major Improvements

We are really enjoying the Frost 15-in-1 and think the 'cool' feature is that you are able to make such a variety of items from soft serve ice cream to slushies to mixed drinks. Since it is fairly portable, we are planning to take it to our Friday night church singles potluck and have ice cream one week and slushies the next.
