I have made the best milkshakes I’ve ever had in my life with this. I also made frozen spiked drinks and it creates the perfect texture. The motor is strong. Max 6 cups, minimum of 2 cups. You can’t add solid foods which is a bummer but you can mix in toppings after. Great ice cream and frozen drink maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wish I could give this a fully stellar review. I’ll start with the positives and what I genuinely loved about it. First, the design is beautiful. The sleek, office-white creamy color is very aesthetic for such a large countertop appliance. It doesn’t feel bulky or unattractive, which is a big plus. I also love the ability to make a wide variety of drinks and even soft-serve ice cream. While it was a little intimidating at first, the video tutorials were very helpful and made me feel confident that I was using and cleaning it properly. My 4-year-old son was especially excited to have ice cream at home, which made the experience even more fun. It definitely feels like a special treat. I also appreciate that the manual includes plenty of recipes—it’s a great starting point while you build confidence to experiment and create your own. One small issue I noticed was with the simple vanilla ice cream recipe. It calls for 1 teaspoon of salt, which ended up being far too salty for our taste. When I tried it again with just a small sprinkle of salt, everyone enjoyed it much more. As for storage, this machine does take up a lot of space. I’m still trying to figure out where to keep it, as it’s too tall for most of my shelves. Many standard shelves are around 15 inches high, while this unit is over 17 inches. The biggest downside, however, is the design of the plastic canister. I assume it’s double-walled for insulation, but it’s open throughout, which allows water to get trapped between the layers and makes it very difficult to dry. After soaking mine in the sink, some of the greasy ingredients ended up inside the canister, leaving it with a hazy appearance. We don’t have a dishwasher, so I can’t place it on the top rack as recommended. Even with the provided brushes, I haven’t found a way to clean the interior of the canister properly. The top opening also has a grated hole, which is tricky to clean thoroughly. I’ve watched all the instructional videos but haven’t found any guidance on dismantling the canister for deeper cleaning. I even resorted to using a hair dryer to help dry the trapped water. Overall, this has still been a fun experience, and I do plan to continue making ice cream at home with it. That said, there are definitely some design aspects that could be improved to make it more practical and user-friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this product is fantastic! small enough to fit on a countertop, reasonably quiet while in use, and incredibly easy to operate AND clean. you can make a variety of drinks and ice cream / sorbets. the instructions even come with some recipes. it’s super easy to change the consistency if you want it to be thicker and the cleaning process makes me likely to use it long term bc it’s not a hassle. i can’t recommend enough!

We have been making protein frozen yogurt and ice cream with it and then topping it with fruit, nuts, sprinkles, or colored granulated sugar. The texture is amazing and you can change it by selecting a different mode. This machine has 6 modes and 7 different textures. It is easy to clear.

After we got all the kinks worked out, the machine ran smoothly and quietly, and took about 20 minutes from pouring the ingredients in to finished product. The texture of our boozy slushies are great! Smooth, no big ice chunks, well mixed, and the drinks retain their texture for quite a long time. Afterward, cleaning and extruding seemed to go well, and disassembly for part cleaning was straightforward enough. The instruction manual is so poorly written you can't rely on it for much of anything, and cost my review 2 stars. On a surface level, the spelling and grammar look like they were written by a bot, or a non-native speaker, and not proofread. It made parts of the manual more difficult to understand, vagueness aside. I felt like the half size recipe quantities were on the scant side for volume to run the machine. We had a terrible grinding noise until we realized the 3 cup measure we put in based on recommendations was not enough for the machine to properly function. I seriously thought we were going to shake our counters apart. After we eyeball added more liquid, things smoothed out. The manual often suggests "choose a colder setting" but doesn't indicate what that *means* in terms of settings on the machine. There is no context given for how the texture settings and level settings actually relate to the temperature. All in all, we'll be happy to explore this machine more, and make it work for us. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using this machine for over a month now and I would say it takes some time to adjust to the right recipes and consistency. The ice cream recipe in the book has too much salt and it needs to be adjusted. We have been loving the soft serve option and so far it's our favorite setting after the slushie. Slushies are pretty much the easiest of all. You can use any soda or juice to make a slushie. Comes our perfect every time. Cleaning the machine is probably the hardest task. It takes some time to get rid of the grease. You need to run a few cycles to get it cleaned. It's important that you dry everyone well before putting it together. The machine works perfectly everytime. It take 15 to 30 minutes to get the recipe done but it's worth the wait.

This product has so many different features and you can make soft serve ice cream, for the yogurt, sorbet, slushies, the possibilities are endless! We tried the soft serve ice cream option because I used to work at dairy Queen and love soft serve! This thing is basically a mini ice cream machine from there. It's super easy to use you just mix up the ingredients and pour it in and turn on the setting for the frozen treat you want and push start. It took a couple of tries to get the consistency we wanted but it's super easy to use even I could figure it out. We also put the leftover ice cream in a container and froze it. One of the things I really liked about this machine is how quiet it is while it's mixing. I'd say it took about 45 minutes before it beeped and said it was ready for the soft serve setting. In addition to being quiet, this machine seems very well made and works better than the cheaper ice cream maker so you can buy in stores. Considering it is a fully functioning mini ice cream machine with a cooler inside, it's definitely worth the price point. We can't wait to try out the frozen cocktail setting and make some margaritas. We will definitely be getting lots of use out of this item and I recommend to anyone that enjoys frozen treats of any kind! Literally the only negative is it's kind of a pain to clean, but not as bad as I thought and it does get easier as you learn how to put it together and what pieces go where. Cleaning it and taking it apart probably took 10 to 15 minutes so not terrible. Definitely buy this!!
