I put it in my kitchen, as we just had a party and had people going in and out, so we had a bunch of flies in our house. The trap caught every last one of them. The light is a bonus, helping to provide light when you just want a dimmer light.

It's light weight, and the refill cartridge is able to catch insects on both sides. It's also easy to install by just plugging it into a wall socket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is pretty effective as far as non chemical insect traps. I don't think the adhesive lasted the full 30 days but it did trap a fair amount of gnats and fruit flies. The light is fine if it's in a room I'm not in all the time, so it makes sense in the kitchen where most bugs are anyway. I wouldn't want to have it in my direct eyesight for a long time though.

I started growing a few herbs and veg inside and noticed a few tiny bugs occasionally in that area. I've tried this plug in option and found that it works great on capturing the small nats. I'm not sure if it works on larger insects, however, as I've not yet caught any flies or mosquitoes on the sticky paper after a few weeks. Not sure it's value for money though unless you have a coupon or rebate.

I like how there aren't any chemicals involved- just a light and a sticky piece of plastic. It also has the extra added bonus of being a nightlight in the kitchen. Overall, I'm very happy with this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is easy to install and use. It is really safe for kids. And also they can pay attention with blue light. Because of blue light, flying can easy to be killed. I will continue to buy it and use it. Enjoy it!

It also is nice that the attraction is based on light, so you aren't more likely to attract a bunch more insects (vs. something like apple cider vinegar and dish soap for fruit flies). I think this item will be perfect in the summer months in the garage to keep pests out and away from us! The refills that they offer are nice as well so you don't have to keep buying the plug in each time.

I plugged this in for 24 hours in the kitchen but it didn't catch it. So I moved it to the garage for those pesky flies and moths. It works like a charm in that location. The light is mild and not overpowering. Great device, but not for kitchen gnats.
