This is a compact and easy to clean version of the bug zappers and fly paper I grew up with. It's a perfect marriage. The house flies go towards the light and get trapped in the sticky glue behind the light. Then when full, you just replace the sticky paper. So easy and mess free

The package has clear instructions on the outside, which I found to be helpful. I like that the item itself doesn't have a smell to it, which does make me feel comfortable leaving it in the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the STEM Flying Insect Light Fly Trap Starter Kit, and I must say, I am very impressed! The device is incredibly easy to set up and works as advertised. The light attraction feature is effective in drawing in flying insects, and the trap captures them efficiently without the use of harmful chemicals, which is a big plus for me. The refill included in the kit is a great addition, extending the usability of the trap without having to purchase replacements right away. I also appreciate that it’s safe to use around children and pets, which makes it ideal for households. In terms of performance, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in flying insects around my home. It’s discreet and doesn’t take up much space, blending nicely into my living area. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The stem flying insects light trap is very easy and convenient to use. I like the design, it doesn't have any odor or smell. And it works well for small flying bugs. I don't like the color of the light, a little too bright at night.

I do really like this product but I give it four stars because the design is not perfect. On the plus side, the product works well, is easy to set up and does catch bugs. It uses the blue light effectively and does make a difference when it comes to catching bugs. However, the piece that you insert is very sticky and can stick to your hands. It's one of those things you don't want to touch on accident. I will say it is reasonably priced and does work well so you can expect it to work.
