I have an electric bug zapper that works really well but also terrifies my dogs. Whenever I turn it on when I see a couple of flies they run out the dog door, tremble and shake or cower in the bathroom. (And that's even before it zaps a fly, just being plugged in does it.) I set up the device and plugged it in in my kitchen to see how it would work. A bonus for me, it's blue in color which blends in with my coastal blue kitchen! I like that it's a bug catcher that also doubles as a nice night light. Within 30 minutes of plugging it in, I've already caught my first fly! I'm hopeful that it will continue to be effective and look forward to using it instead of the scary bug zapper!

I really like this product because it is pet friendly and people friendly since I have for small dogs. Also, it is free of insecticide, and this makes my space feel cleaner. Just simple peel the white thin paper, and your insects will get trapped. The best part is that you have the option to peel both sides or just one at a time or as needed. I love the blue light that at night looks more like a high-end wall lamp. Definitely will repurchase again.

The trap pad is hidden behind the opaque light. The plug is adjustable so I can use in horizontal or vertical outlets. After being on for about an hour, I already see one little insect! It would be nice if it had a refill.

As it starts to switch to the Spring season, I have noticed a few more bugs in my home. I saw my first fruit fly yesterday and knew I wanted to get rid of the problem BEFORE it got worse. This will help me catch those few stragglers before they reproduce or attract more bugs. Just putting the refill into the device base, I have high hopes that it is going to work well. I could hardly pull the protective peel off the refill! There is no doubt that bugs will stick. I am also very content that this is a light trap--insecticide free and safe for my whole family. Looking forward to less bugs this season.

It's hard for me to recommend this product, because it doesn't seem to do a whole lot. Basically, this is a blue LED nightlight with an adhesive plate behind the light. The blue light doesn't seem to actually attract any insects; but any bugs that happen to land on the adhesive will be stuck for sure. For the cost though it doesn't seem to be a good value. It would probably be a better option to get some spray or a different kind of trap. It looks nice and works well as a nightlight, but otherwise it's kind of pointless.

It honestly works better than some zappers thrice it's size. It emits this nice blue color and after leaving it overnight, I've already seen a couple of bugs caught. The only downside is that it comes with only one sticky trap, it would be better if there were two.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been having a really bad problem with fruit flies near my son's diaper genie. I put the stem flying insect light trap right above it and wow what a difference. Yaaaaay. Those things were getting so annoying. So happy to find something that finally works. This is a new need always in my house. Atleast for as long as my son is in diapers.

The insects light traps is a perfect size light to be plug in anywhere in your house. Ours was placed in the laundry room and the blue light is just bright enough to light up the room. Very easy to replace the cartridge when needed. We will most likely be buying another for our screened in porch.ss
