I like that they are insecticide free and safe for both people and pets. All you do is plug them in where you are noticing the bugs and the light attracts them. Bonus that it doubles as a night light!

The STEM flying insect light trap is very easy to use and aesthetically pleasing! You simply snap a piece of plastic (a refill) into the light and plug it into an outlet. It's very effective in catching insects on the refill, and the best part is that it looks like a normal nightlight. There is no need to keep a bowl of vinegar or sticky paper around your plants. The downside is the price of the light itself is a bit high, but, once you have it, the refills themselves are relatively inexpensive!

The Stem Flying Insect Light Trap Starter Kit was easy to assemble and use, and I am thrilled to have a safe, effective, and innovative product to help protect my family and home year round from flying insects. Its compact and functional design make the light easy to put together, and even easier to move around the house from outlet to outlet. Most important to me as a consumer, is the product's ability to attract and capture flying insects with UV light and a non-toxic, replacable adhesive panel. Without the use of harmful chemicals or toxins, this light manages to effectively control flying insects like mosquitoes and fruit flies, making it safe for use around pets and people. The elimination of the use of things like citronella candles that require fire, bug zappers that are both noisy and messy, and chemical sprays that either need to be reapplied to skin or sprayed multiple times into the air to be effective, is a huge game changer. I can not wait to continue use of this light indoors and outside on the patio through the spring and summer months!

I appreciate the fact that they are pet and family friendly and easy to use. Until now I've always use the sprays. Unfortunately in the spring and summer we do get flies in the house I appreciate a chemical freeway of trapping them with a method that's working 24 seven.it appears to work well and I would recommend the product to others. I only wish the refills worked a little longer than 14 days.

We struggle with flying insects in the spring and summer, so I am excited to try this product. I like that there are no chemicals and no strong chemical smell, so I won't mind using this in the kitchen. The nightlight is attractive and the front is smooth so you could put a decal on it to make it even nicer. The back is frosted so the bugs that get stuck to the pad will not show. The sticky pad was ready to install and replace.

It doesn't make any noise nor does the light affect the room. It works very nicely because the product catches Nats or any other small flies as well and it also works as a nightlight. I use the product in my hallway, and that eliminates leading into the other room, the product is also orderless which is a big plus.

Within a few hours we saw fruit flies In the trap!! I really like how there is no sound or odor and mostly that it is chemical free!! If I could change one thing it would be how bright the light it. I feel like it is very noticeable, I would prefer something a little more discreet!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This bug light has attracted so many little gnats that I had flying around in my house where now I barely had little to none. The light is not too bright and a very low dimmed blue light. It is also nice where it is a little night for lighting hallways.
