For best results, it should be plugged in next to the source of flies. It works incredibly well, and I appreciate that it is made without any harmful chemical insecticides, making it safe for kids and pets. Additionally, the modern design fits with any decor style and adds a nice touch to any room.

We've done the traps with the liquid and they work okay but the flies still prefer my bananas. I love that they were instantly drawn to this product within minutes of plugging it in. In addition, I feel comfortable having this product around my kids and pets as there are no chemicals. Wish I knew about this product sooner!

I bought this product because it said it is insecticide free and it was going to go in my kitchen around food products. I am using it to keep away fruit flies and it seems to be working. It has no scent to it at all which is great. The light is just a soft blue light not too bright and it's safe for my pets.

The price is very reasonable and I love that they have refills at our local store when you run out in the starter kit! I kind of wish the blue light wasn't so bright.

I would say within 1 hour of being plugged in, the light attracted its first bug - for whatever reason, I always have year round flies near my garbage and this seems like it will do the trick. The device itself emits a low level blue light once plugged in, and you attach a double-sided plastic glue board to it. Very easy to setup and get using straight out of the box. I'm not sure how often I will need to replace the glue trap, but happy to have this up and working so fast and easy.

I usually get fruit flies in the hot summer and some small gnats from the house plants so this could be a great options. I don't like the smelly fruit fly traps I've used in the past. So positives so far. I like the blue light. It's always on so it's a nice night light in my kitchen, which I already had so I'm using this as a replacement. I like not using any chemicals to get rid of gnats and bugs in the house. It was super easy to set up. Add the sticky sheet, plug in and go. Negatives. Box says it comes with one refill, but it's not an actual "refill". It comes with one sticky sheet you use right away. To me that's not a refill. It should come with two if they are going to same it comes with the until and refill. It's a little larger than I thought. The refill sticky part says to replace it every 14 days best performance. That's two a month. I didn't look at the price of the refill packs yet. They may last longer than 14 days but I haven't gotten that far yet. Overall I'm happy with how easy it was and the chemical free bug control. How effective it is and how long a refill last is yet to be seen.
