I chose this item because I leave my bathroom window open all the time, and these pesky mosquitoes love to fly in all year long. I have previously purchased and love stem products, but this plug-in offers me the convenience of not having to spray every time I see a bug. It has been plugged in for a few hours, and unfortunately for the bugs, none have gravitated towards it just yet. Also, the light is bright on it, so I won't stumble to find the light switch on a late night bathroom run

I like that the blue light can also be used as a night light and that the plug has a rotating feature depending on the positioning of your outlet. The sticky insert is extremely sticky - be careful not to let it touch anything else. I haven't had any bugs fly into it yet, but with how sticky the product is, I would expect any bug attracted to it will surely stick.

The STEM Light trap is a must have for your house if you have a lot of fruit flies or mosquitoes! It effectively trapped the fruit flies in my house within a couple days. I love that it is safe to use around kids and pets, and doesn't involve any harmful chemicals. The kit comes with a light plug in device and a refill for around $20, which is a great deal considering you keep the device and a new refill is only around $6.

It doesn't make any sound, there's no smell to it and It traps the flies. I bought one to the garage and now I'm taking a second one to use at another place on my house cause during spring season there's a lot of bugs around. I do recommend it specially if just like me you have allergic kids at home.
