The Stem Flying Insects Light trap was quick and easy to set up right out of the box. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand with words and pictures to guild you if you need it. Not only were they included inside the box, but also on the outside of the box as well. It's a chemical free plug in that gives out continuous light that attracts nearby flying insects and traps them on its dual sided adhesive cartridge. The light worked great and shined bright but not too bright where it was bothersome in the house. So, it makes for a great nightlight depending on where it's used. I like that this can be used in garages as well. I placed this one near my kitchen window and trash can to prevent any gnats or fruit flies form lingering around this spring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this STEM Flying insect light trap set, it goes well with any decor design wise but I feel like this is pretty ineffective for my main concern which is fruit flies. I found it only attracted two total flies over the week I’ve had it plugged in 24/7 and I still had a fruit fly issue. I feel this will do very well for small moths and other light attracted insects just personally didn’t do too well for my particular need. The adhesive is very good quality, thick and a lot of stick to it, I also live that you can grab your old one out without touching any bugs or residue and easily slide in the new one.

This indoor flying insect trap is an effective way to trap mosquitoes, fruit flies, moths and the like. On the plus side, it works 24/7, takes just seconds to set up and uses no chemical insecticides. And when the adhesive get filled up, you simply swap out the used cartridge with a new refill. The only real downside is that the adhesive gets pretty unsightly as insects get caught on the adhesive. So it's not something you want to plug-in in a very visible spot in your home.
