I get many fruit flies in my kitchen and it's really difficult to get rid of them. This insect trapper can be safely used indoors. The adhesive backing refills which are dual sided can be purchased easily. It traps all the little bugs. It is insecticide free. Neat and effective.

There is a vanity in my room that always end of up with tons of dead little flies on it for some reason. This does an awesome job of catching them all. It makes no noise and I don't have to worry about any chemicals. It is easy to change the bug catcher, making clean up super easy.

When I first opened it, I wasn't sure if it would have an unpleasant smell because sometimes these things do. What I like about the Stem brand insect light trap is it does exactly what it says it does. It's also a very attractive looking modern design with a nice blue light and it does not take up much space. I also like that it says it's people and pet friendly with no insecticides. It actually works really great! What I didn't like is it's a little bit pricey and it requires a refillable sticky trap that is called a dual sided cartridge that you have to buy when the first one is full of dead bugs. But it's well designed and effective.

I bought my first light trap starter kit two months ago because bugs were getting in through a window AC unit. I put the plug in the wall right near it, and I cannot believe how many bugs it caught! I ended up purchasing a refill about 3-4 weeks later when it was full of bugs. It was really easy to unhook the old one and load a new sticky refill. We also love the blue light it emits. I just put this one in our all-seasons porch to get ready for the warm weather. I'm so excited to keep the rogue mosquitoes out of the house and not have to worry about all the flying creatures that make their way inside.

But, I have had this trap up for over a week and have only caught one tiny fly/gnat. This is placed by my back door. I live in an area with a large mosquito population. I don’t see many in my house but I assumed it would trap a few.

No where near as sticky as a mouse trap. This is comforting so I don't have towels worry about my cats being harmed. The light glows a pretty blue that doubles as a nice night light. This is a much more attractive option than stinky sprays or the red apple traps that can tip over and spill.

We bought the STEM flying insects light trap because we had a lot of fruit flies in our house. It was very easy to set up and get started. Just peel the paper off both sides of the sticky refill, push it into the base, and plug it in. I have only had it for a little while so I don't know how long it will last before needing a refill but when a fruit fly lands on it, it is definitely stuck.
