The Stem Flying Insects Light trap was quick and easy to set up right out of the box. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand with words and pictures to guild you if you need it. Not only were they included inside the box, but also on the outside of the box as well. It's a chemical free plug in that gives out continuous light that attracts nearby flying insects and traps them on its dual sided adhesive cartridge. The light worked great and shined bright but not too bright where it was bothersome in the house. So, it makes for a great nightlight depending on where it's used. I like that this can be used in garages as well. I placed this one near my kitchen window and trash can to prevent any gnats or fruit flies form lingering around this spring.

One is the actual plug-in device with a plastic plate that lights up when plugged into your outlet. The other piece is a flat blue cartridge that has sticky substance on both sides and your insert into the plug-in device. Insects are attracted to the light and become trapped on the sticky cartridge. The cartridge would need to be changed either when it becomes full of insects or after 14 days. This is not something I would recommend for effective flying insect removal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was beyond excited to purchase the stem flying insect trap starter kit as my dog likes to have the sliding door open all day and of course we get all types of flying insects that come into the house. This fly trap works amazing as the glue is very sticky and will trap any Flying insect that it comes in contact with. My only warning is to be careful that you place the sticky trap portion securely on the device as I did not do that and the sticky trap got stuck on my counter and I had to literally yank it off. Definitely recommend if you struggle with flying insects in your home as this is a life changer.
