Fruit flies are a problem in our household and I found a couple already get trapped in it. It works as a night light as well because of the blue light. I like that it's people and pet friendly because I have both kids and pets. I will definitely be buying more refills when it's time to change it out.

The sticky insert is easy and quick to install, it pops right into place. The blue light does not bother me, I find it kind of relaxing. The sticky trap easily slides into the light and clicks when it's good to go. The light attracts pantry moths and fruit flies. I put the light trap in my kitchen since I know moths come inside when I let my dog in and there are sometimes moths in the pantry from dry grains such as rice.

I was excited to try the Stem Insect Trap as I have noticed a few fruit flies in my kitchen the last few days. The instructions to assemble were clear and it was very easy to assemble. Be careful when attaching the cartridge because it is sticky but it does not create a mess. I liked how there is no chemical smell or any odor. Once you plug it in, you just walk away and allow the trap do its job. After a few hours the trap did catch one fruit fly. I feel like this product is good tool to eliminate small fruit fly infestations.

I have put the product in a small room that separates the garage and house as it is very practical there. The product takes up little to no space. There is a stinky panel that goes behind the light to catch the insects. It looks like a night light and actually has a pretty, blue glow when you plug it in. I can use it in the house and it won't look bad.
