Just put the sticky refill pad in the unit and plug it in. Safe around kids and pets! I have this one in my kitchen and will probably get a second one for the garage. Love it!

I like the fact that I can use it without worrying if it would be harmful to pets. It work well especially in the middle of the night when the insects are mostly out and about.

I really like stem because flies are addicted to lights and this makes it easy to trap pesky flies. The stem is easy to install and easy to plug in. I recommend buying this and more than likely will buy it for another room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has a blue light that attracts insects and has a sticky tape. After just a few days, it is caught tons of gnats and mosquitoes that I didn’t even know were in my house. I do wish that it came with one extra sticky insert, but that is not a dealbreaker. This is a pretty cool insect trap with a soft blue light. That’s easy on eyes and doubles as a nightlight down our hallway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This STEM flying bug fly trap works good. I wish the insert wouldn’t just be floating to the middle and clicked into place. But this works very good has two sides to catch little bugs. After 24 hour use you will be shocked how many bugs get trapped.

I'm always hesitant to use chemicals because most of problem is in the kitchen and we have kids and pets. So I'm always chasing flys around with the fly swatter. This Stem Light Trap is awesome because it doesn't use chemicals so it is safe for kids and pets and it does all the work itself. All you have to do is plug it in and insects are attracted to the blue light it gives off. Really cool product. I highly recommend!

I love the design concept of the product doubling as a fashionable nightlight. It is discreet so guests do not j ow what it is. It worked well. I wish the sides of the trap were enclosed so you could not see the bugs stuck to the sticky paper from the side views.

I have good hopes that this product won't let any bugs survive in my kitchen since the glue is very sticky. The blue light it gives off is also not much of a bother at night time, it acts like a night light and a fly trap!

Sometimes it's difficult to get the piece that has the sticky substance on it on the machine without getting it stuck to your hand, but once you get it set up it works really well and catches a lot of bugs. I give it five stars.
