It has a sticky pad on the front and back, and it can even catch flies that are too small to be seen with the fruit insect.It is sad to find them dead. I wish they had never entered the house. Ideal for those who are sensitive to chemicals or do not want to keep chemicals at home. However, if you have a small child or a pet, I can recommend that you be careful about the adhesive surface.

I was actually excited to receive this because each year we get a random amount of flies that appear in our house from no definite source. This device is simple to use. It took less than 2 minutes to install. The nice part too is that the refill is easy to remove and replace once the panel is filled with the bugs. There's even an area of the refill to grab onto without getting your hands dirty. Lastly, the blue light is very mellow and is not overly striking as to bother you once plugged in. Can't wait to see what I catch!
