This product does not make any sound and the light seems to be a good amount to attract bugs. It is not bright enough to be distracting at night. I appreciate that the light trap has sticky sides on BOTH sides of the refill, just in case bugs go behind the light - good thinking!

This product was easy to open and the instructions were simple. This item comes with two parts- the device and 1 refill and started working immediately. I have purchased other products similar to this one, but two things I liked immediately better was how easy it was to put together and how easy it was to peel the refill stickers off and put in the kit. Another great thing about this is that it's safe for humans and pets. I would recommend this product and definitely purchase again.

I have wanted a solution to cut down on small flying insects in our kitchen during warmer months. We have gnats and sometimes fruitflies. I plugged the trap in near our fruit basket since that's where most bugs are attracted. I think it is a good concept, but it definitely didn't work as well as I'd anticipated. I watched a small moth and a gnat fly right past it. The light doesn't seem to be attracting them. For the price, I would not purchase again. It is basically a blue nightlight with sticky paper.
